April Blog Hop!
Thanks for coming to check out my card! This is my second PTI post of the day with Pond Life! I hope that you like what you see! If you do, click on THIS LINK after 8pm EST, to go vote for me! I'd SO appreciate it! :) So, I had a bit of difficulty with this challenge because it involved printing with my printer! As much as I love the patterned paper, it turned out not so cool with the colors my printer made it, leaving me with few ink choices. I'm happy with how it turned out, though, and my hubby approves of my attempt at a "man card"! LOL
*
I used the PP by punching them into 3/4 in squares and creating a background with them. I used my Ornare piercing template for the dragonfly "trail", and created wings for the dragonfly with velum. The "my son" was stamped with second generation Marigold Morning, since the Summer Sunrise was too bright for the paper my printer created.
*
I finished it off with some MSL ribbon and a Creative Cafe button. The "thread" was made with tiny paper strips and a glue dot on the back.
*
Now, I'm off to go get dinner, and then check out all of the other "finalists"! Have fun Blog Hopping! :)
