And One More Thing...

I wanted to send out a thank you for those that sent me birthday cards! It's so awesome to get something special when I walk out to get the mail! I've got a pic to share (that I've shamelessly stolen off her blog) of a card that Monica, from Hambo Stamps sent me! I love that sentiment...I think. ;) It's a great card that's even better IRL! Thanks so much, Monica, for the awesome pop-up card! Too cute!

Blogger RAK Time!

Okay, yesterday, when I said that I didn't have a card to show you I lied. It was purely unintentional, mind you, but a lie, nonetheless. I have had these two lovely RAKs for a week or two, now, and have yet to post them! What I need to do, is to put them in a more visible area. I sit them on a cute little bookshelf, till I'm ready to take pix and post, but it's a bookshelf that is not in my direct line of sight! So, there they sit, until a day like today, when I look over and say CRAP! Okay, I've digressed...

Take a look at the wonderful RAKs that I received. This first one is from Kelley (sorry I spelled it wrong on the watermark!) Herrick. You can see her blog here. I so love this color combination, and the layout is so cute! And of course, I love the Hambo little ladybug stamp that was used! Thank you, Kelley, for this rockin' card, and for the super sweet note inside! Next time your in my area, stop by and visit! :)
This next card is from, none other than THE Queen Blogger herself, Allison Fillo! She is such a sweetheart, isn't she! I was lucky enough to have been tagged by Allison with a QK Blogger badge, as one of five blogs that she considers to be "click-worthy"! Now, this is saying something coming from a person that is rumored to keep up with over 2,000 blogs a day!!! I told you before, but thank you SO MUCH for that, Allison! You totally made my day!
This card is so stinkin' cute! I love the paper and the little Primas that she used! If you've never checked out her blog (???), and want to see her other lovely creations, and you DO, then click here. But that's not all she offers! Bookmark her site, because she is also a wealth of information on blog candy, tutorials, sketches, links, contests, etc...
Thank you, Allison, for thinking of me! :)Well, I'm going to try to get some stamping done today, and make something I can actually show you!!! Wish me luck!

More Blogger RAKS!

In the past couple of days, I received two beautiful RAKS that reminded me of the little "need to upload" pile that I was "collecting". Let me tell you about these three...

The first one is from the wildly talented Bethany Paull, from It's Not All Black and White. I love what she did with this set! It was not a set that I was crazy about, but her card made me question that! She "Stickled" the flowers, so it's nice and sparkly! Thanks so much, Bethany, for thinking of me! :)

This card is not a Blogger RAK, but another birthday card for my little Wyatt. My friend, Mimi, made this for him, and he just loved it! I absolutely love the colors! Thanks, Mimi! You rock! :)

And last, but not least, a card from Laura! Miss Laura is from Lu-La's Corner, and makes the cutest cards! I love this one with the patterned papers and cowboy boots! Thank you, Laura, for thinking of me!
Thanks so much to all three ladies! They all rock, so you should go check out their blogs NOW! What are you waiting for??? ;)

Amy RAKS! (I mean she ROCKS!)

Sorry for the pun, but I couldn't help myself! Both of these cards are from the wonderfully sweet stamper, Amy Wilkerson. Are these not adorable!?!
Amy sent these to me months ago, and I'm embarrassed to say I'm just now posting them. Please accept my apologies, Amy.
I have no good excuse, saving a poor memory. I've had a stack of cards that I wanted to upload, either here or on SCS (or both, depending on where they know me from) sitting on my bookcase for a long time now, and I've simply forgotten to post them, while I'm posting other things.

Isn't this little guy cute with his sheriff's badge? She even faux metal embossed it! So cool IRL!
Thanks again, Amy - Wyatt LOVED his cowboy card, and it was so nice of you to think of him on his special day!

Kirsten

Thanks to Amy!

This adorable card was made for me by Amy Wilkerson. She is a super sweet girl that found me through her blog, and is also a member of my SU! group, though we've never met! We swapped some House Mouse images, and she added this card to her sweet package! Thanks so much, Amy, and I apologize for it taking me so long to post it! :)
Hugs!

Diane's Sweet BRAK

A BRAK (in case you're not familiar) is a Splitcoast Blogger Random Act of Kindness card that was sent to you from another person in the BRAK group. You can join through the SCS RAK group. (If you have more questions on this, just shoot me an email.) This particular one was made by Diane Gilbert. Isn't it SO cute! I love the Aida bkgd and the little "stickled" flowers! Thanks so much, Diane!
Make sure that you check out all of her other creations at her blog, My Little Stampin' Spot.

Check THIS Out!

{I can't believe I almost forgot this!}
Isn't this card gorgeous?!? I LOVED it when I saw it on Miss Ana's blog a while back (a blog that I LOVE!), and yesterday, I opened up my mail, and there it was! It's even more pretty IRL! She used Stickles on the butterflies, and now, thanks to this card, I MUST have more colors of Stickles!
And if the card wasn't enough, she sent all of these yummy images! I can't wait till Naptime!!!
Thanks, Ana! You ROCK!

Heather's BRAK Card

First off, I want to apologize to Heather for the poor picture. However, I did want to get this card up here, I got it before we left for our trip, but had no time to upload it, and we have the worst love bugs (they sound endearing, but they're a nightmare - trust me!) and they're EVERYWHERE! I was forced to take the pic inside. I despise the stinkin' things...but enough about the bugs.
This lovely card was made by my blogger friend, Heather. Her blog is A Secret Garden Grows Here. I love the Papertrey butterflies and the Cuttlebugged swirls. Make sure you check out her site! Thanks, Heather, for the super sweet card!
*
So, I didn't ever get the chance to stamp today. Kinda bummed, but tomorrow definitely looks promising - I'm going to Mimi's house to play! I did want to give you some eyecandy, though, so for now, enjoy this sweet one from Heather.

Who Wouldn't Want a Card From Beate???

I saw this aDORable card on one of my FAV blogs the other day, and said to myself, "I REALLY need to make one of these neato (yes, I said neato) folded square cards." Can you imagine how big my smile was when I opened up my mailbox, and saw it in there??? Beate Johns is a SUPER talented stamper, but also a SUPER sweet person. She also sent me some stamped images of this bee, and a group of 3 bees. Thank you SO much, Beate, I LOVE it! Check out her wonderful blog, Fresh and Fun, you won't regret it.

Simply a Pretty Blogger RAK

Look at this very pretty card that I got in the mail the other day! It is from Debbie Seyer. I love the colors, and it also reminds me to pull out an old favorite stamp set, Simply Said.
How nice it is to open up your mailbox, and know that someone somewhere was thinking about you! Thank you so much, Debbie!
Check out her blog here.

Yet Another Birthday Blogger RAK

This aDORable card was made by Judith Novak, from Gone 2 the Dogs. I love the colors, paper, and the masking of the flowers in the wheel barrow. Thanks so much for thinking of me, Judith!
She has some great stuff over there, so make sure you check it out!

Even More Birthday Blogger RAKs

I have been blessed this year with a wonderful birthday! I've gotten so many beautiful cards, gotten some nice presents, but most importantly, spent it with the people that I love the most - my friends and family. I had my first ever surprise birthday party with a cake and everything, (my hubby NEVER does that!) with only 2 candles (a 3 and a 0...shhh, don't tell anyone...) since we wouldn't want to have that many candles on a cake - it'd be a fire hazard! lol Also, I was lucky enough to get the big box of Prismacolor Premier Pencils (still learning about them - you'll hear more about 'em later)! I am so excited!!! I'm SO going to be coloring away tonight! But before I do, here are some of my wonderful RAKS...

The first card is from Debbi Rippentrop, and the picture doesn't do it justice! It is beautiful, and it looks like she used a resist technique using the new Doodle This set. She used one of my fav color combos and sets, and completed it with the faux stitching - I love it! You can find her blog here.

The second card is made by Melissa, from Stamping Through the Tulips, and it's super pretty! She used my fav color - blue, and added microbeads to the flower centers for a sparkly dimensional look. Thanks so much, Melissa!

The third card is a very different layout, and very cool! The Hodgepodge holds the white flap closed, and then the Hodgepodge piece opens up! Very cute, and I really love that Paisley bkgd! I received this from Simone, a fellow Blogger RAKer. Thanks so much for thinking of me! Her blog can be found here.
The fourth card is from Miss Michelle Laycock, and it is lovely! She used one of the new Spring Mini sets, and some of my favorite punches. I love it, Michelle! Here is her blog.

The next adorable card (5th one down) is made by Lori Tecler. She used last year's Polka Dot Posies set, and I'm kind of sorry that I didn't get that one! I love the tag and ribbon technique, as well as the colors. Thank you so much, Lori! Check out her blog here.

And last, but not least, here is a card from my friend, Mimi Hornberger, that she made me for my birthday. She is not a Blogger RAKer (yet), but I wanted to post this anyway. I absolutely love the primas and bling in the flower centers! The paper is awesome, and very "me", and the sentiment is super sweet. Lots of love and hugs to you, Mimi! Here is her gallery.

Thanks to all of you for your wonderful cards! You all really helped make my birthday so special!

More Birthday Blogger RAKs!

Look at these wonderful RAKs I got for my birthday! It's amazing to me the super sweet people that we meet by doing this whole blogging thing!
The first card is from Nancy over at Nancy's Creative Mess. She used Glossy Paper underneath a Transparency layer, attached with Gold Brads. The Glossy is one of SU!'s papers that I DON'T have, now I have to have it! LOL
The second card is from Julie Purdam at Rubber Room Ramblings. I love the colors that she used, and of course the polka dot ribbon. Julie such a super sweet lady that she also sent me 2 rolls of my FAV AC ribbon! Can you believe it!?! How awesome is that???
Make sure that you check out both of these ladies blogs - they have great things to share!
Hugs to you both!

Birthday Blogger RAK!

Isn't this adorable??? I just received this cutie birthday card from Leslie Brown, a fellow Blogger RAKer! I love it! I opens from the top, like a little purse. The flower looks like it has some purple Stickles on it, and the ribbon is too cute!
Check out her blog, Continuing to Create!

Blogger RAK from Jana!

Look at what I received in the mail Saturday!!! This wonderful card is from a very sweet fellow blogger, named Jana (my sister's name, by the way!).
She stamped the whale on Shimmer White paper, so it's extra pretty. The background is iridescent, and looks like bubbles.
Thank you so much, Jana!

First Blogger RAK!

This is my very first Blogger RAK, and it's funny because I didn't even realize that Michelle added me to it! I had asked her about it a while back, and she told me how to go about getting signed up, but I didn't know... Well, suffice it to say that I was very pleasantly surprised to see this adorable card in my mailbox!

This is a card from a new blogger friend named Charmaine, and her is her blog. What a sweetie! I love the detail in the bottom right corner! Make sure that you go check her out! Thanks, Charmaine, you made my day (and it wasn't such a good one either - see this post)! :)
