Last In the Parlor Project (...for now ;))

How could you NOT just love this chandelier?? I think it's so pretty! This is a quickie post. Just wanted to make sure I got this last card up here. I really do love this In the Parlor set! So much fun!

I used BG's Eva, PTI's ribbon and CS, Marvy punches, Michael's bridal flowers, BG buttons, and Fiscars edge punch.

Till later!

Let Your Light Shine

This is a candle that I picked up at the grocery store. I thought that it would look nice all dressed up in In the Parlor, one of the new sets from Lizzie Anne. It would make a nice housewarming gift!

Here's the topper. Have I mentioned that I love reupholstering these cutie chairs!? The button is from Moxie, I believe. I used my trusty Copics for coloring.

And the front of the candle. I just used some SU! ribbon that matched, and voila! :)
Now, I'm off for work. Have a good one, and I'll be back soon! Next week is MFT's next release, and I can't wait to show you what I've been working on for that! ;)

Release Day!

I created this little tag with Lizzie Anne's new Chillin' and Grillin' set (that is NOW available on the website!! AND if you place an order TODAY, you get a FREE pack of French Floral PP!!). I picked this beach bag up at Michael's last Spring, for a similar purpose, but never ended up using it. Well, I did this year, because I still think that it could make a really cute gift for someone coming to visit.

It includes a cute beach towel, flip flops, and of course my favorite sunscreen!

Here's a close up. I've got to say that I'm in love with the tiny little ant! LOL
Well, I'm not all that chatty this morning, so I'll wrap this up! :) It IS now official about us moving to Ohio, though. We had our renters sign on a contract yesterday for a year, and it looks like May 18th is the big day. Alas, the beginning of a new chapter of our lives...
Till later...

New LAD! Day Three!

This is day 3 of the new LAD set previews, and I know you're loving them. They always have the cutest images, and you'll be able to pop all them into your cart tomorrow!! For more previews and links to the other DT girls who will be having peeks, click HERE.

This one (above) was made with Sweets & Treats. I stamped the popsicle's and paired them up with some BG Cupcake paper. The button is BG, as well, and the flower is from Maya Road. Ribbon was a gift from a good friend. I love the little sequins. Oh, and I colored the flower with a Copic marker.

I had the most fun with this set - In the Parlor! The too-cute chairs are a blast to "reupholster". The paper and buttons are BG Ambrosia, and the ribbon came from a publication box, but I don't remember the maker. Love the lace, though!
Well, I've to run! Only one day left! I will have another something for you to check out tomorrow!

New LAD!

This is the new Chillin' and Grillin' set from LAD, and I just love it! It has the cutest images, including one of Meridith's famous "little people"! I was going to stamp him with the grill, but thought that I would do a card for Dad with just this image.

The sentiment is a rub-on and that and the ribbon is from SU!. PP is from MME, and the image is colored with Copics.

Make sure that you check out the Lizzie Anne blog for links to all of the other sneak peeks!

Till later!

You're a Good Apple and some news...

This is a card that slipped through the cracks, and was just rediscovered this morning! I've been doing some more stamping - 10 projects yesterday, actually - in an effort to get "ahead of the game" before we move! It's just one of the many things on my "list". It did feel good to accomplish so much, though!

I used LAD's Tutti Fruiti set and one of Lauren's older sketches for this. (Her blinkie is on my sidebar.) The PP is from LAD (too) and the buttons are Basic Grey. Used my Nesties for the main image and the ribbon is SU!.

So, I guess that it's somewhat official. We're moving to Ohio for at least a year to give this new opportunity for Dave a go, and we'll see what happens after that. We found a renter for our house that we trust, which in this market, we HAVE to take as a sign! We're moving in a month. It's not going to be easy, because, well, I'm not going to have a stamp room... need I say more?! But I think that it could be a really good thing for us, even if I am going to miss FL, and our life here, terribly. Change is a part of life, I guess...

Well, I guess that's enough for today. Have a good one!

A Drink on Me

This card was made with MFT's new set, called Girls' Night Out. I just used the glasses and sentiment from the set, but there is a totally cute Who's That Girl image in the set, as well. I think I got a little over-zealous stamping the sentiment with the white craft ink, so it smooged, but you can pretend it's nice and crisp! LOL

The paper is from BG's Offbeat, and the buttons are from BG, also. Punch is Fiscars, flower is a Prima, ribbon is PTI, and those are Bella's BonBons beside the sentiment. The flowers in the background are from the only SU! set I've gotten this catty, called Fifth Avenue (I think). I like the open-ness of them for creating backgrounds.

Well, gotta run - I'm off to work! I'm really itching to get into my stamp studio today, so HOPEFULLY, after work, I'll still have energy to stamp! Till later!!

Howz It Goin?

This is Text Ya Later, from BCDzyns (an MFT company), and she is SO me! I'm a habitual "texter", so naturally, I love this set! It comes with all kinds of sentiments that fit perfectly with our little chica!

I also used MFT's Perfect Paper Panels, and I must say I'M IN LOVE!!! I used them with my Copic markers, and they blended so beautifully! They're my new all-time fave! See below for a close-up of the coloring on the new PPP's.

I used BG's Offbeat PP, A Muse Twinkle Stickers, AC ribbon, Creative Cafe button with pearl accent, and Nesties Label One die.

Tomorrow is the big day! In fact, here are all of the deets about the release...

Adorable Little Boy

So, I went in search of my mojo last night and made three cards. By the third one, I think I found it, but...this was not the third. LOL I'll show you that one next week. BUT, this little ditty (or is it diddy, like as in P?) was fun to make. I think I went a bit overboard on all of the patterns, though, but oh well - it matches, at least! The paper is from BG's Offbeat paper pack.

I used MFT's new Cuddle Up Carter set. Ain't he cute!? BTW, $2 from the sale of each of these sets go to a non-profit organization, called Europeds. Read more on that here.

The sketch started out as one of Jen's more recent SFYTTs (see sidebar for the link), but it went a bit awry. The sentiment is a combo of stamped letters from PTI's most recent alpha and SU!'s rub-ons. The rest, I think, is self-explanatory - buttons are BG, ribbon is PTI, and dots are from the Bella.

Well, I guess that's about it. This constant state of limbo that my life seems to remain it for the moment is really putting a damper on my stamping, so bear with me. I'm trying!

Till later...
