Good Morning! The winner of the super yummy Lizzie Anne prize is...

Timestamp: 2008-07-09 14:37:44 UTC

That translates into Eileen M! So, if you are Miss Eileen, then email me your address ASAP, so that I can get it to the LAD girls! If you're not Miss Eileen, but you know her, give her a ring and tell her to get on over here and claim her prize! LOL

Here's what she said...

"I think one of my wishes may be covered in the next release- with Giddyup Girl. Next, because of my age (or more accurately, the age of my friends), I have a few retirement cards to make, and that will be happening more and more! So a retirement set, with some quirky sayings, would be great. And a music set would be great, too. Thanks for the chance to win!"

Congratulations, Eileen!

Now, keep staying tuned because I WILL have a card posted by day's end! LOL

Who's Up for Some Lizzie Anne Lovin'?!?

The Lizzie Anne Celebration (click <--- for full schedule of deets!) is still in full swing, and today is my day to spread some LAD love! All you have to do is leave a comment here ON THIS POST, and tell me what kind of Lizzie Anne sets you would like to see in the future. You never know who might be reading this! :)

Then, tonight at 12:00am EST, I will draw a random winner via random.org. I'll announce the lucky person tomorrow morning right here on my blog, and then then the winner will need to get their home addy to me so that they can receive their super secret special package direct from the Lizzie Anne girls!

How easy is that!!! So, hurry up! You don't have much time!

Also, here's another LAD girl you might want to check out - Katie Ellsworth. I do believe that she'll be handing out some candy over on her blog today!

Good luck!

xox,
Kirsten

PS I should be back soon with a card to show you, so stay tuned! :)

So Sorry!

I know that I've been a majorly SLACKER blogger, but I've been CRAZED! I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and stamping my fingers to the bone with mostly things that I can't show you, and just now have been able to take a breather and announce the big news! Without further ado...

Would ALYSSA come on down!?! :)

Alyssa said...
I really like Tractor Riley and Hammock Riley. Tractor Riley could be paired with some really cute sayings! Thanks for the opportunity! :)
March 21, 2008 8:04 AM

She has some very cute cards posted on her fairly new blog, and I suspect she would welcome some visitors over there, so go check out her stuff! Alyssa, send your home addy on over to my email, and I'll get your stuff mailed out to you!

Thanks for all of your comments! I LOVED hearing all of your faves! It sounds like the Hammock Riley is top on the list, followed closely by Hula Sophie and Bikini Sophie. I love all three of those too! I gotsta get to stampin' with some more of those cuties - PRONTO!

Well, I'll be back with a card in just a sec! See you then!

Hanna Sneak Peek Day 1

This little Valentine's gift is my first preview to you of the new Valentine set from Hanna Stamps! Aren't the little lips just adorable?!? Not sure who I'll give this to... Might just be a Valentine to myself!!! ;)

I stamped up the coffee bag with Craft ink (Real Red) and Dew Drops (Pixie Pink and Jumbo Java). The sentiment is hard to read, as the ribbon gets in the way, but it says "Wearing long lasting lipstick is a must on Valentine's Day". I love that font, too!
I just rounded corners of the sentiment with my EK corner rounder, punched a hole in the end of it, and tied my May Arts ribbon through! Makes a cute and easy gift, don't you think?

Oh, btw, I've drawn the winner for the sneaky little "Naptime Nugget" contest from the last post, and it's...

Michelle!

So, Girlfriend, send your home addy to my email address (on the sidebar), and I'll send your images off to you!!! Congrats and have fun with them!!! :)

In Other News...
1. I'm planning on another Naptime Nugget soon, because I've almost reached 150,000 hits, so stay tuned!

2. Keep watching for some more sneak peeks of the new Hanna set, being released on Friday! It's a really fun one! Also, check out the other DT member blogs, as they have some great stuff too! (Links on my sidebar.)

3. Starting next Monday (the 7th), you'll be able to check out the new MFT sets being released on the 9th that you're so gonna love! I've already got three samples done that I'm dying to show you! ;)

4. Lizzie Anne has several super-dee-duper sets being released on the 7th as well, so keep a look out for those sneaky peeks!!! I think that I'm going to have most of them, so I'll be having fun with those in a couple of days!!! :)

5. And, Hambo Stamps will be having a release of some Springtime stamps that I'm sure that you'll have to have! I've been privileged to see several of them, and I'll keep you posted as to the release date as soon as I know!

Now, for the conclusion of this lengthy post, I'll wish you a very safe and Happy New Year! We're planning on spending it with friends and family out back for a cookout and fire. We've even got the makings for some S'mores! Mmm, mmm, good! :)

Heading for Stardom

This Bella is SO me. Well, if I were that thin and wore a pink bow in my hair, that is. But I heart her SO much!!! :) As soon as I saw an Ipodabella, I knew I had to have her. I LOVE my iPod as much as a teenager! LOL

I colored her with my Copics and added Waterfall Stickles to her "fur". The layout was really inspired by a sketch I saw on Amy's blog here. In order to make the REALLY long skinny rectangle, I just used two, and covered the seam with the dotted layer! The flowers are Primas and the button is Creative Cafe. Sentiment is from one of my favorite Verve sets, Starlight Starbright.

Now MY Ipodabella is probably listening to some Toby Mac or Mercy Me (because that's what I most recently downloaded, thanks to my iTunes gift card I got in my stocking!). What would YOUR Ipodabella be listening to??? Leave me a comment to let me know, and I'll draw a number on Monday. Maybe you'll you'll receive an image or two! :) (Consider it a little bonus to those of you who read all the way to the very end! :))

Jana Weaver, who said...

"WOW! Looks like everyone wants to win some Hanna stamps!! I am most thankful for my family, but right now especially my nephew who is at Boston Children's hospital awaiting surgery!!"

Congrats Jana! And thanks so much to all of you who played along!

If any of you were wondering, I'm very thankful for, like most of you, my son and husband, as well as many other friends and family members that make my life so full. I'm also thankful for all of my "virtual friends" whom I'm constantly checking in on and those who keep coming back to check in on me. There are many other things I could list, but I won't bore you with all of them. I will say, though, that if it weren't for the fact that the two of us are jobless at the moment, our lives couldn't be any better. (That sounds funny to say, but it's true!)

Ready for Some Naptime Nuggets???

To celebrate tomorrow and what it means, myself and the rest of the Hanna Stamps Design Team (Go a blog hoppin' for more chances to win! The links for all of the DT girls are on my sidebar!) will be giving away an unreleased brand spankin' new Hanna Stamps sentiment set, called Things Hanna Would Say. Above is a sneak peek of four of the 28 sentiments from the set.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post with what you're most thankful for this year, and on Sunday, I'll randomly draw a name and Kristi will send a set out to you! How awesome is she for donating all of these sets?!?

In addition to Thanksgiving, we're also celebrating the unveiling of the new Hanna Stamps website scheduled for this Friday, and I'm so excited about that! I've not seen it yet, but I imagining something awesome!

Well, I'm off to finish a project that's been consuming most of my "creative time" (ie., NAPTIME!) lately, which is an ABC book for Wyatt (lowercase letters). I've got to get that finished so that I can move on to other pending projects, kwim!? Gotta love this time of year! :) (Seriously, I do. :))

It's Naptime Nuggets Time!!!

Did ya get a load of all of that eye candy?!? What you're playing for is a chance to win...

1 package of Bazzill Cha Ching Brads!!!
7 yards of May Arts MEGA yummy Sparkly and Light ribbon (1 yard per color), that I received from my last Jody share!!!
AND...
1 brand new My Favorite Things' Setting the Stage stamp set!!!

Here's the why...
CNS (again, that's Confessions of a Naptime Stamper - it'll catch on, I'm sure of it! LOL) has surpassed the 100,000 hit mark, and I'm SO excited!!! This is just a little thank you to all of you who keep coming back to peek in on me!!!

All you need to do is this...
Leave a comment with the answers to these three questions on THIS post...
1. What is your absolute FAVE My Favorite Things stamp set?
2. How many stamp sets does My Favorite Things currently offer?
3. Who is one of the 2 newest My Favorite Things Design Team members?
Only one comment per person please!

But that's not all...
For an EXTRA chance (or more!) to win, create a brand new original My Favorite Things card (or other creation), and post it in a separate comment with your SCS gallery or blog link to THIS post. You may enter a total of 3 cards, just make sure that they're all in separate posts, and that they're all different!!! By doing this, where others will only have one chance to win by answering the three questions above, you could have up to three additional chances to win! The choice is, of course, up to you!

This contest will close at midnight, Sept. 30th, and the winner will be announced on Oct. 1st (also the day of the MFT big release - hmm, coincidence??? ;)) I will randomly pick a winner via random.org. The card entries will not be judged. They only statistically increase the chances of your number being drawn. One more thing, please only play if your mailing address is located in the US or Canada. I apologize for this limitation.

Have fun, and remember, MFT sneak peeks start HERE tomorrow, and the first one is oh so Sweet! ;)

Kirsten

Would the Following Person Come Forward...

Drum roll, please...

The winner of the Naptime Nuggets is...

Kerry J. who said...
"Congrats on the hits! I love your blog and all your great cards! I love most of the Hambo stamps but I especially love the Flipper Boy and the tea cup with the accompanying saying. Thanks for the great nuggets!"

I shouldn't be, because it's totally random, but I was kind of surprised when random.org picked #3! I guess I always think that a "random" number will be somewhere in the middle! I know it's silly.

Anyways, CONGRATS Kelly! Please email me with your mailing info, and I'll get your package out to you! I hope you have a lot of fun playing with it! And THANK YOU to all of you who commented! I LOVED hearing all of your faves! For my 100,000th hit, you could win something that's sure to be a FAVORITE! ;)

Now for the card, how CUTE is this skunk??? I love him! You can't tell from the picture, but he's stamped on Shimmer White CS, and is colored with my Copics.

And now I must be off to a friends for a play date! I'm going to take my quilt to hopefully get a bunch done on it while we're chatting! She's (Jeanine) working on a cutey little scrapbook for her daughter's teacher, so she can get to know her little Ava. What a great idea, huh! It's called "I Am Ava". So cute!

All of you wonderful people helped to make Naptime surpass 75,000 hits last night, and as promised, I am now offering you a chance to win some Naptime Nuggets as a thank you for reading!!!

I never would have dreamed how much fun, fulfilling, friendly, and freakin' time consuming this blog would be!!! (I had to keep with the "f" theme, you know!) :) Naptime has brought so many opportunities to me, that I don't think I would otherwise have had, and I am so thankful for those blessings! This is just a small token of my appreciation to you!

What's up for grabs is the following package...

1 Simply Scrappin' Kit - Just Delightful
1 Sakura Stardust Pen - Clear (you'll LOVE this!!!)
2 Yards of Apricot Grosgrain Ribbon - to match the kit
3 Rubber Romance stamps!!!
and a Handmade Card created by Yours Truly. :)

All you have to do is this...
I told you a bit about what I liked about Hambo Stamps on my last post. Now it's your turn! Head on over there (click link above), and then come back to tell me what you found is your favorite Hambo stamp. It can be an image, sentiment, or a combination of the two. IT'S THAT EASY!

You have until Wednesday, Aug. 15th at midnight to leave your comment. I will draw a number with random.org, and announce the winner on Thursday morning.

So go and have fun, and I'll be back with a card tomorrow! Can't wait to hear your faves!

And We Have a Winner...

I just had the number 90 randomly drawn from www.random.org, and, assuming my counting is correct, the winner for this Naptime Nuggets is Susan Liles!!! Here is her comment...
...................
Susan Liles (susiestampalot) said...
kirsten, congratulations on the blog milestone!! cool! as far as tutorials---i NEED someone to give me instruction on working with glitter and the many ways to do it! i managed to dump a whole container of it on myself the other day. so please include how NOT to do that!!

.....................
Hooray for you, Susan! Please email me with your home addy, and I'll get this shipped off to you as soon as I can!
As for the glitter, I'll have to work on that one, as I don't use glitter a whole lot, though it WAS a popular suggestion, so I'll be thinking about it! I DO have a tutorial for everyone tomorrow, however! (Here's a hint, it was one of the most requested tutorials...) Hopefully it will be helpful to someone! :) See you then!

Come One, Come All!

I can't believe that this blog has surpassed 40,000 hits, already, and has 260 email subscribers... I think it's time to say THANK YOU with some Naptime Nuggets!
Shamefully, I mentioned this forEVer ago, and am only just now getting to it, BUT here it is... (Sorry the pic is so dark! Click on it for a better view.)

Here is what the package is...
1 Best Blossoms Stamp set
1 box of white Adornments
1 handful of yummy Primas, and
3 yards of delicious May Arts ribbon

What do you do??? Just leave me a comment on this post by Tuesday at NOON (EST) and tell me what tutorial you would like to see here on this blog. I know that people appreciate them and I wouldn't mind doing them, but I don't want to be redundant, or bore you to tears with something that you've already read on another blog! If, however, you'd like to know more about a particular subject that you've seen on this blog, please leave a comment.
OR
If you're not interested in tutorials at all, you could just comment to tell me...hmmm, let's see...what you think the significance of the dragonfly is on my banner/watermark. (That might be kind of easy, but should be fun for me to read, anyways!)
I will draw a random number with one of those really scientific-type number drawing websites, on Tuesday afternoon and announce the winner. Have fun!

xox,
k

PS And Jeanine and Mimi, please don't answer the second question! {wink}

And the Winner Is...

After very careful consideration, I have decided that the winner of my very first Blog *candy* is... KOstvig, who said this...

"How about
1.Naptime Nuggets
2.GeeZZZZ
3.GEMZZZ
Just thinking I might think of some more I'll be back "
March 29, 2007 12:27 AM

After poring over all 97 comments (holy moly!), I've decided that Naptime Nuggets was the best fit for my Confessions. So, CONGRATULATIONS to KOstvig for her winning comment! K, please email me with your addy, so that I can get your "Nuggets" to you! :)
Reading all of your creative comments over the past week has been very entertaining and SO MUCH FUN! You ladies are WONDERFUL, and I thank you for taking the time to play along with me!
***
Thank you, also, to everyone who left sweet comments on my Can You Believe It!?! post. I REALLY appreciate all of you - I'm very blessed.
***
And, lastly, I need to get back to some stampin'!!! I finished my swaps, finally, and they are now shipped out! Woohoo! Only one more to go this month! lol I'm really looking forward to getting the swaps back (all 3 of them, so far), so that I can share them with you! I have a feeling I'm agonna be gettin' some good stuff! But anywho, I will try to stamp up something tonight to share with you probably in the morning, so stay tuned...
***
Okay, this time it's really lastly, I will be out of town in Orlando this weekend, starting tomorrow afternoon, so there's for sure not going to be any posting (unless I can hijack a computer???) until Sunday. But don't let that keep you away - you could always start studying up for the next Naptime Nuggets contest (20,000 hits)! {grin} "Somewhere on my blog, there is an image..." (Hopefully I've got you intrigued.)
Hugs, Kisses, and Happy Easter,
k

PS. I DO realize that there were others who also wrote Naptime Nuggets, but I had to choose the first person to write the comment - I hope that you all understand.

Drum Roll Please...

ETA: The winner was chosen, and she is KOstvig for writing Naptime Nuggets. See And the Winner Is... post for more info!
Okay, here is the Blog *candy* that I have been talking about! I finally was able to pull together what I think is a pretty desirable package. What I'm offering is two packages of Doodlebug Design Inc. Cute Clips - one in a birthday assortment and one in a baby assortment, two packages of American Crafts Elements Metalgrams - one in black capital sans and one in silver lowercase serif, an EK Success Multi-Stamp in 12 Thinking of You phrases, an assortment of American Crafts Greenhouse Flowers - in various sizes, colors, and styles, a hand-stamped card created by Me (seen in this post), AND a Stampin' Up! unmounted Bitty Blossoms background stamp (no longer available!). Is that worth playing for??? I hope so - so here's the deal...
Everyone has an adorable Blog *candy* name (Jen has Tarts, Julie has Truffles, etc...), and I've racked my brain trying to think something original with no such luck, SO there is the contest... Whoever comes up with the most creative Blog *candy* name will win IT! And yes, it is subjective, but after all, it IS my contest! {grin}
I will read each one and decide by April 4th. That gives you a week to be thinking and commenting. There is no limit for how many times you can play. So lay 'em on me! :) Help me celebrate over 10,000 hits and over 100 subscriptions!!!
