You Are FAR OUT.

Reposted: This card was published in the October issue of Cards, pg. 78.So this is a card with which I was trying to stretch my creativity. I need a couple of boy cards, and with this set, By Air, retiring, I thought that I'd pull it out. I have noticed that I've been sticking pretty close to my favorite layout a bit too often, lately, so I tried something different. The "far out" sentiment is from a Autumn Leaves clear stamp set. It also has a lot of really cute images, but I get to those another day! :)
The paper is S.E.I., and I also used BB, WW, and Transparency. I used both Black and White Stazon on the Transparency sentiment layer. (The "you are" was made with Karen Foster Snap Stamps.) The corner treatment was created with the new Cuttlebug die and SU! brads, and the aliens were created with a QuicKutz die.
I used SU! Markers for the spaceship {Mustard, Buckaroo (stamped off to match paper), and Olive}, and cut out the blue piece for more dimension. Lastly, I added the piercing, doodling, ribbon (May Arts and Basic Grey fibers), and Making Memories clip.
