Sitting Here Thinking of You

This will have to be a quick post, being that it is no longer naptime (lol), but I wanted to get this card up here! This is uses two new stamps that I got in the past 24 hours, the Faux Ribbon and Inky Antics turtle. I also used my A Muse Skinny Oval for the underneath shadow with a light gray marker.
The CS colors are very different from what I normally use, but they came straight from the PP (Imaginisce) - Ruby, Garden Green, Marigold, and Not Quite Navy. The ribbon is American Crafts, and I used Prismacolor Pencils (with Gamsol and stumps) to color in the cutey turtle. The bkgd was Cuttlebugged with my friend Mimi's new folder.

Have a great evening!

  3. Love this card - everything matches perfectly. The cuttlebug cicle embossing matches the circle centers in the flowers and all the colors blend perfectly together on the different papers used. The turtle it also too cute!

  6. Well done with the ribbon. My goal is to play with that this weekend. I made a cute ribbon the other night, then of course, trying to add "more" to the card, I fouled it up. I should have gone with the less is more concept that Nichole illustrates so brillantly!!
