Happy Fourth!

I LOVE the new INs! This Wasabi is such a nice green! It's a bit lighter and not as drab as Garden Green, and it matches a lot of my patterned paper! I'm also loving this You Take The Cake MFT set! So much fun to color!

I colored the image with my Prisma Pencils, added a bit of Stickles to the flames, and Liquid Pearls to the icing. I Cuttlebugged the bkgd with the Happy Birthday A2 folder, and cut the scallop with my Slit punch. The little "dots" on the scallops were created with the 1/8 hole punch.

Happy Independence Day to all of my American friends! We will be enjoying a day at the beach this morning with some friends, and then a fireworks show tonight. I'm hoping that Wyatt doesn't freak this year from all of the noise - last year he was not impressed! What are your plans for today???

I'm not sure what tomorrow's post will bring at the moment, as I haven't created anything yet! ;) I'm working on a couple of ATC swaps that I will post when they're finished. Have a wonderful day! :)

xox,
Kirsten

  1. Wonderful card! Your coloring just amazes me. I think you may have had a tutorial. I'm going in search of it. Love the colors on your card. I haven't ordered yet, but wasabi and pomegranite are the colors I'm most excited about.

I also hope Josh doesn't freak out with the fireworks. "fingers-crossed" Oh, and I don't think we are in the same ATC group *bummer*. Can't wait to see what you made though. Happy 4th!! Hugs Ana

  10. Holy mackeril. What a beautiful card. I love all those bright colours. Maybe I need a package of those new colours after all. I'm undecided if I like the green or not, but it looks great in your card. Fabulous work, as usual!
