Last One!
This is the last card of this series. I used a transparency to stamp the sentiment on, and it looks a little funny in the pic. When you're looking straight on, you don't see that shadow. I'm sure that someone already played with the gifts in her hands, instead of the cake, but I haven't seen it yet, so at 11pm at night when I made it, I was thinking I was pretty brilliant! LOL The thing I'm not 100% sure about is the dotted background. I can't decide if I like it or not, but I got tired of fiddling with it! KWIM?!?
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! We have company here now, and Wyatt's birthday party is Sunday, so I'm sure I'm going to be pretty busy for the next few days, but I'll be checking in soon!
xox,
K
P.S. Several people have asked me where to get the best deal on the Copics, and I got mine from MFT. Kim has the best prices around that I have found. And she got them to me super fast! Check them out here. Click on Products, and then Ink it Up. They come in 4 sets of 36. I got A and B, but I'm already droolin' over C and D! ;)

ReplyDeleteGreat card! Have you thought about doing a tutorial for paper piecing? It seems so simple but I can't figure it out =) Especially when people switch the dresses on the bellas.

ReplyDeleteOMG! I love the presents! And the dotted bg is great. WONDERFUL card. Love that transparency.
ReplyDeleteThe polka dot background works great Kirsten. Don't second guess yourself! Love the effect of the transparency too. You're so good at adding dimension to your cards!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspiration. I saw the wonderful colors on your MFT birthday card and I have just purchased a set of copic markers.
ReplyDeleteAre the marker MFT the refillable markers? Also, can you change the tips on them if they wear out? I know you can on the sketch markers, not sure about the CIAO makers.
ReplyDeleteEvery card in your series is so cute! Wonderful, vivid colors--love the blue and pumpkin--perfect match for the DP. Thanks for sharing all this info about the Copics. I had no idea there were so many different kinds!
ReplyDeleteLove the "presents" surprise! Great job on the unexpected. Your coloring looks wonderful, and I love the look the transparency gives!
