Glitter Wings

This is another image from American Art Stamp (AAS), specifically an image from Adriana Cirstea - Angel with Child. Can you see the sparkle in their wings? They're covered with MSL silver glitter, hence the post's title. :)

From now on, just assume that if it's a colored image, that I used Copic Markers. I'll let you know if I used something different! LOL

OMGoodness, I just got my extra Sketches in and filled out my blank Copic Color Chart that I found on Sharon Harnist's blog, and let me tell you that that has made coloring so much more enjoyable!!! No more scribbling colors onto scrap pieces of paper to see if they match! It also makes finding the right blending colors SO much easier. I also can't believe that I didn't have my markers in numerical order for so long! Now I feel so much more organized with them. If you use Copics, I seriously suggest you print out the chart!

Anywho, back to the card. My color combo came from a page in my latest Pottery Barn magazine. The flower is one of those bridal flowers from Michaels'. I colored that with Copics, too. Ribbon is from AC, and the sentiment is from PTI's Little Lady.

Welp, dinner's almost ready, so I'll have to catch up more with you later!

xox,

  6. Hi Kirsten,
This image reminds me of the Demaco (?) angels that you find at Hallmark...you know, the ones whose faces are plain (no eyes, nose mouth etc). Thanks for introducing us to these wonderful stamps. You do such a beautiful job coloring them and your layouts are brilliant!
