You Warm My Heart

This is the little Valentine that I made for my sweet little boy, Wyatt. He absolutely warms my heart, and then some. I don't know what we'd do without him!

I used the new My Punny Valentine and Borders and Corners Circles , from PTI, for this card. I also used this week's color challenge, over on SCS. The body of the sheep is punched out of an embossed piece of PTI white CS. The legs and head were stamped with Brilliance Graphite, right on the card base, for simplicity. The circles from the background were stamped with SU! Turq., and the card edges were inked with Versamagic Cloud White. Ribbon is from American Crafts.

Thanks for checking in this morning! I hope to have a sketch for you tomorrow, so make sure that you check back in then to get a bit of inspiration to get your week going! :)

  4. Ok, just two things and I will go. First of all, when i saw the card I thought embossing the wool was so cute and different.
Second, I also have a Wyatt. When we named him we thought we were being original and there wouldn't be any other Wyatt's and then we find out that we know someone who has a Wyatt just older than ours, now yours. I guess great minds think alike :)

  5. I love the sheep. I've been wanting to make cards with sheep on them for so long. I have a ton of ideas for sentiments..."Thank Ewe"..."Ewe are special"..."When you can't sleep, instead of counting sheep talk to the shepherd"...and for Christmas "Fleece on Earth, Good Wool to Men"

As you can see, sheep cards are on my long "to-do" list.

Thanks for the inspiring blog. -Krissy
