A Day at the Park

A friend of mine took this adorable picture while we were at the park today with the boys. He was QUITE the friendly raccoon! We had to restrain ourselves from wanting to snuggle the hungry little guy - he was so cute. He kept peeking at us while we were sitting at a picnic table, hoping for some food to drop. Too bad the boys were quick to gobble down their PB&Js!
Just had to share! Scroll down for today's project! :)

  1. The raccoon is adorable. Just be careful with a raccoon that is awake during the day. They are naturally nocturnal so being active during the day may be a sign of sickness (rabies).

  5. A friend of mine some years ago had 2 pet racoons. Oh-my
if everything wasn't locked or tied down they would be into it. They are cute, but they are in the "terrible two's" forever.

  7. I agree with your first poster...if a raccoon is out and near you during the day it is probably sick! Very likely rabies. So stay away from a raccoon you see in the daytime!! Dangerous, because you don't know what's wrong with them. If they are healthy they only come out at night.
