A Shaker, an Award, and a Moose

This is one of the Riley stamps from Hanna Stamps that I just inked up. Kristi was kind enough to send us these green beads, and I found these super cool (Yes, Mimi, I know I could make my own, but...) coin holders (for scrapbooks) while I was up in OH, so I thought that I could put the two together and make a cute little Riley shaker.

It's actually the first one that I've ever done, and it was pretty easy, so I did another one with some Lizzie Anne stamps, but that's for another day. ;) I used my Spellbinders for the frame, along with my SU! square punch.
Also, I wanted to thank Holly McMillen and Frances Byrne for nominating me for the E for Excellence Award. You Ladies ROCK, so it means a lot coming from you two! :) Now, I'm supposed to nominate some people, but I can't possibly choose from my lengthy GReader list just a few blogs, and I don't want to leave anyone out, so I'm going to decline on the nominating. (Yeah, I know. I'm a wuss. :))

Anywho, that's about all for now! Tomorrow should bring a Lizzie Anne card. See you then!

xox,
Kirsten

  1. This is very cool. I have never thought to use scrapbooking shakers on cards. I have always used foam tape, and acetate to create my own area for shakers, but this is so much easier. Thanks for the tip, and the super cute card.
