Sneak Peek #5 (and other things!)

This is it! This is the last day of previews! Only HOURS are left until the My Favorite Things release of FOUR awesome new sets!

And if THAT wasn't enough to get you over there...
Kim, at MFT, has announced that she is offering 48 hours of FREE SHIPPING to anyone in the US of A, and discounted s/h to everyone else! Click here for more specific details.

I have loved seeing what everyone is doing with these sets. Make sure that you check out all of the other MFT designers websites and galleries! You can find them all here.

As you can see, of the 3 awesome new sets that I currently have (the fourth is on it's way!), this is my favorite. I know I've said this before, but I just love all of the little pieces that come in the sets to make a new scene every time! On this card, I used the fireplace, candle setting, fire, and stockings. I also used the snowflake and sentiment from Winter Blast on the background.

When I saw Jen del Muro's acetate card in the Dirty Dozen one month, I thought is was amazing! I have seen it a couple of times since then, and then the Dare to Get Dirty challenges have prompted me to create one of my own. There is a definite challenge, though, when it comes to taking a descent pic of it! This is the best that I could get, with the rain and ants wanting to crawl all over it and everything!!!

Everything is colored with Copic markers on the main image, except the fireplace, which was stamped and cut out of a Going Grey piece of CS. The acetate (or transparency, found at Walmart, or office supply stores) was stamped with White and Black Stazon. The Sky layer is behind the acetate (or inside the card - the sentiment could be written/stamped here), and the main image is in front. Notice my brads??? I clipped off the prongs, and adhered them with Mini Glue Dots!

Hope you enjoy this one, and all of the other previews! I've had so much fun making them! I'll be taking a break from MFT tomorrow, but I'll be back with a cute little MFT diddy on Thursday!

Make sure you come back tomorrow, because I have a BIG announcement that I've been dying to share for weeks now, and I'll finally be able to do so tomorrow! I'm sure that some of you {those of you wonderful souls that actually read all of my lengthy posts (wink)} thought that I'd forgotten all about it, since I hinted about it, what seems like FOREVER ago, but NO. And I don't think that any of you will be able to guess this time, either, though I wouldn't mind hearing any guesses you may have! Heehee!

Talk to you soon! Have a great evening!

xox,
Kirsten

Sneak Peek #4

Reposted: This card was published in the December/January, '08 issue of Paper Trends, pg.14.

This is another card from the upcoming set, Home for the Holidays, to be released on Aug. 1st by My Favorite Things. Sadly, I'm not sure that I will get the 4th set in time to post any sneak peeks, but I will try to keep 'em coming from the other three sets! For more info on this set, please see this post.

I used my AC paper and Copic markers for this. The tan paper behind the tree is actually separate. I messed up the background on the original piece, so I cut it all out with my scissors and craft knife, and mounted it on that one. The sentiment was cut from both a transparency and red paper by my new Cookie Cutter Dies, from QuicKutz. I, also, was able to use my seldom used buttons on this!

Well, have a happy Monday! Not sure what I'll be doing later today, but I hope you have a good one! See you tomorrow!

Sneak Peek #3

This set is called, Let's Hear it for the Boys!, and will also be released on Aug. 1st with the other 3 sets, by My Favorite Things! I don't have many "manly" sets, so this one jumped right out at me! I love this main image, as well as all the other little pieces that go with it, especially the slippers! (More info on that later in the post.)

I used my Prismacolor Pencils to color him in. I love the variety of the Pencils vs. the Copics. They create such different looks! I wanted a softer look with this PP (Crate Paper, Cowboy Collection), so I used the Pencils this time. (Also, I have much more Pencils than Copics!)

Okay, now for the set. You have the main image you see above and slippers, as well as a remote, newspaper, drink of choice, fish plaque, bowl of chips, baseball hat, golf club and tee, and a variety of sentiments you can piece together to address Father's Day, Grandparent's Day, Birthdays, one that says "Let's Hear it for the Boys!", and a longer sentiment that would go great on the inside or out! As you can see, most anyone could find a man in their life who would appreciate a card made from this set. Mine will be for my Dad's birthday. This image is SO him!

Hope you're all having a great weekend! I just got back from a bike ride to the park with the fam! Nice to get outside, even if it IS 100% humidity! LOL

Kirsten

MFT Sneak Peek #2

This is one of the cards that I have made with this wonderful new set, called Home for the Holidays, from My Favorite Things. I LOVE Christmas, and I LOVE this set! It has so many little bits and pieces that you can put together to create an original piece every time! I would have 2 to show you today, but the other card was picked up for pub! Yeah!!!

Anywho, let me tell you about the set. There is a Christmas tree, fireplace, rug, little star for the tree, tiny candy cane, candles with a holly sprig, a fire (to place in the fireplace), 2 different stockings, Santa legs, 2 different presents, a sprig of pine, 2 different ornaments, a string of lights, and several words that you can put together to say whatever festive sentiment you want!!! TONS of possibilities!!!

For this card, I used some scraps of Basic Grey Fruitcake paper. I pieced the wall and base board. {I showed this card to my husband (he's a builder), and he said that he liked it, but that the cream colored wall should be lower on the sides so that the line inside the fireplace shows it's depth - leave it to a man to notice something like that! It was then that I decided I needed to add some base boards! LOL} I colored the main image with my Copics, and stamped the sentiment on the PP. Hope you like it! I had fun making it.

Tomorrow will bring you a little something from Let's Hear it for the Boys! See you then! :)

MFT Sneak Peak #1

It's almost time to get out those wallets and CC numbers - My Favorite Things is releasing 4, count them 4, new sets on August 1st!!!

I will be posting cards from each set, leading up to the big day, starting today! This adorable mini set is called Back to School. It includes the teacher, with a pointing stick in her hand (I've omitted the stick for these two cards to show some of the versatility that Kim plans for all of her sets, not excluding this one!), a blackboard, stack of books, globe, book bag, an apple, and 2 sentiments!

[Reposted: This card was published in the Aug./Sept., '07 issue of Ready, Set, Create!, pg 117.]

For the first card, I wanted the teacher to look more like a mom. I'm picturing her standing by the front door, holding the book bag, to make sure that her own star pupil doesn't leave it behind. :) I'm sure that sounds familiar to some of you! Also, I stamped the sentiment in three lines, so that it fit into the circle nicely. So nice to have clear stamps for that! No stamp-a-ma-jig! Other items used were Michael's ribbon and the SU! Slit and Circle Punches.
The second card shows the well-loved teacher that the little star pupil treated to an apple. ;) The black layer is embossed with my Traffic CB folder. I colored both cards with my Copic markers, and used one of them to "spritz" some color on this teacher image. The scallops were created with the MFT set, Setting the Stage, then I just cut around them. The bottom of the black layer is pierced below the ribbon. The ribbon is SU!, and so is the Large Oval Punch.
I chose to use the same PP for both cards, by Doodlebug. It just screamed Back to School to me, with the alphabet printed on it in primaries. The CS used was BB, Stamper's Select, Real Red, Pumpkin, Brilliant Blue, and Wasabi. Hope you like them! Check back in tomorrow for a little Home for the Holidays! :)

So Kind

This is the card that I was talking about in a past post, that took me forever to make, while the other simple ones I made that day were so quick to make, and, in my opinion, more appealing! lol

The thing I liked the most, though - did you notice I actually SEWED the ribbons on??? I didn't want to add more brads, so I was looking for another way to do it, and Mimi had her sewing machine out, so that's what I did! She also let me use some of her Fairy Tale ribbon on it - yummy! The transparency covers a very pretty piece of PP, but tones down a bit the bright colors, so you can see the butterfly "trail".

***Make sure that you check back here tomorrow! I, along with some other DT members am going to be giving you some sneak peeks of the new sets (one a day starting tomorrow till the end of the month) that My Favorite Things will be releasing on August 1st!!! I'm positive that you'll love them. There are FOUR of them, so there's definitely something for everyone! So, see you then!!!***

Oh So Sleepy

So I stayed up all night reading HP7 last night, going to bed at 5:30, with my little monkey waking at 6:30. Needless to say, I'm a bit sleepy, yet here I sit. I'm here on my computer, posting a card! I didn't mean to stay up all night, it just happened, ya know! Those HP books are so impossible to put down, especially when you get to like the last third of the book!

Anywho, here's the last card that I made in this series. I used that fun Stem Sayings again, with my Bodacious Bouquet, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Not sure if you can tell in the pic, but the flower and leaves are dry embossed.

That's about enough for now. Going to try and take a quick nappie before the little man gets up! Talk to you soon!

Dream Big

This is another of my quick and simple cards that I made the other day. (I retook the pic of the last one, too - I think it's much better.) This is a super clean layout, but that's what I wanted for this card. I like them in a set, so maybe I'll take a pic of all three later...

I doing a little babysitting today. I was hoping to get a bit more reading done, since my darling angel (no sarcasm at ALL) is a bit preoccupied with his "fiance". {There was an "interview" of my little dear in the MOMS Club newsletter this month, and this is the girl that he will marry someday. Or, in his words, this year. (grin)} However, I haven't been doing a lick of that, and instead, been taking some time to do some much needed cleaning. Well, and a bit of blogging! (wink)

Hope you all have a fabulous day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Thanks So Much

Reposted: This card was published in the December, '07 issue of Cards, pg.161.

I think that I'm taking my pix at the wrong time of day, lately. Today, it was close to dusk, so I think that's why all of the cards that I photographed are showing up with a weird cast to them.

Anywho, I just thought that this little flower turned out so cute! I spent a couple of hours on another card I made the same day (at Mimi's house), and about 5 minutes on this one, and I like this one 100% better! Don't you love when that happens! lol I'll post that one later in the week. For the next 3 days, though, I'll share some matching clean and simple cards that I made recently.

I was able to play with some of Mimi's new stuff, including Stem Sayings, Little Flowers, Scallop Circle Punch, and Think Happy Thoughts. I Cuttlebugged the Scallop punch with my Bubbles folder, and only inked part of the Stem Sayings because of the small card (4 1/4 square). And I really like the little ribbon leaves.

Hope you like it, and that you have a great Monday! See you tomorrow!

Nature Infused

Reposted: This card was published in the December, '07 issue of Cards, pg.173.

I love this little butterfly! And the Infuse paper by Basic Grey is so yummy, too. I know that I said that on my last post, but it bears repeating! I got the 6x6 pad of it at my LSS, and I will try to do that every time, now! It's perfect for cards - I know that that's probably not news to any of you, but just in case! ;)

I'm not happy with how the colors came out in this pic, and if I have time later, I'll replace it with a better pic. The base is Ruby Red, even though it looks more like Really Rust.

I used my Touch of Nature set, because I think it looks nice with the PP. I watercolored the flower and butterfly with Ruby, Cameo, Olive, and Blush. The wings of the butterfly are elevated, as if it just landed. It's very pretty IRL. And did you notice the doodle detail on the main image? Totally inspired by the MFT sets! :) I also love how the words from Baroque Motifs totally fit perfect in the Key Tag punch! (See my last post pic.)

Well, I'm off to get the monkey dressed and fed to get ready for our day! We're going walking with the MOMS Club - need to whip my butt in shape! ;) Later, I may get to play with some of Mimi's new SU! sets! {wink, Mim!}

Talk to you soon! Have a great day!

Bad Lighting

I don't know what was going on with this pic. I took this last week, and in a variety of places, and couldn't get a good one, so I gave up! :) This is the ATC that I did for the swap, and here I am, still trying to get some mileage out of it! ;) Like I said before, I've been busy making "other" things that I can't show you yet. I know that that's probably annoying, but it's true!!!

I added more of the Prima paper to this, and a cutey photo corner that I created with my Giga Scallop Oval punch, a gel pen, and some ribbon. For more info on the ATC, see this post.

I wasn't very productive last night. :( High hopes for today, though! :) Have a great Hump Day!

Rockin' Girl!

I was tagged by the talented Sherrie, from Card Creme, today. I "met" Sherrie when we were both asked to be on the MFT DT, and I'm glad, because she is just the sweetest thing! Thank you, Sherrie, for the nomination! :) Make sure that you check out her blog if you haven't already!
This Rockin' Girl tag game is the latest one going around, but I thought that this one was pretty cool. All you have to do is tag 5 blogs that you think are pretty "rockin'", and let 'em know that you did, so that maybe it'll make their day! This is in NO WAY a comprehensive list! I have a slew of blogs on my Google Reader that I check daily! These stampin' ladies are just the first ones that come to mind (and that I don't think have been tagged yet).

The first person that I have to tag is Mimi, because she is one of my bestest friends ever.
The second person is Ana, because I just think she rocks!
The third person is Kendra, because she is so super sweet and talented.
The fourth person is Tracy, because she inspires me so much and doesn't know how talented she is.
The fifth person would have to be Lauren, because she's super sweet, has all the latest info, and just makes great stuff!

Have a great evening! Tomorrow will bring another ATC convert! See you then!

Kirsten

Back to a Little Stampin' Up!

I've been having so much fun with all of my "other" stamps, that I have been neglecting some of my beloved SU! sets. There just simply isn't enough time in the day to do everything that I want to do! I know that I'm not alone in that! I just have so many new stamps and sets that I've been itching and needing to play with, I've been putting stuff that I HAVE already played (ie., mostly SU!) with on the back burner. This, however, is such a beautiful set. I just had to pull it out last night. Also, this is one of my new favorite color combinations!

There's not much to say about this card, so I'll forgo most of that. I will say that the Sky layer is elevated on Glue Dots, so it looks like it's not centered on the Bayou, but it is.

I'm planning on having a pretty relaxing day today, and I hope you all are too. My company's gone home, and we'll miss them terribly, but it's good to get back into the swing of things. Hopefully I'll be super productive, and have lots to show you tomorrow! :)

An ATC's New Life

This is the ATC from my last swap that I turned into a full-sized card. I had an extra one, so I thought "why not!?" (I did that for the other ATC I made, too, so you'll see that tomorrow!)
I used more Imaginisce paper with this, and some Wasabi and Pomegranate. I kept the lo simple, because the ATC had so much going on. That brads are from Bazzill. I also added some red Twinkle Stickers for the cherries on the cupcakes! (Those weren't on the ATCs.)
My in-laws are still here and we're having a great time. Wyatt had a blast at his party last night with all of his friends and family, and got tons of fun stuff to keep him busy for a little bit, at least! :) It was a nice evening and we avoided any rain. Every one's going home today, though, so that will be sad for us. We'll be looking forward to seeing them again, soon.
Life will be back to normal tomorrow, so hopefully, I'll have some time to stamp. I'm missing it. I HAVE made a card since they've been here, but I can't show you right now. ;) Hope you all are doing wonderful, and have a great Monday!

Notice Something New???

See my new avatar??? I finally took my hair down out of the pony tail for a few minutes, threw on some make-up and my cutey MFT shirt, and had the hubby take a few pix in front of the house for a new avatar! Check back in tomorrow for a new card! Gotta run for Wyatt's pirate party!

Copic Info

Okay, I'm am certainly no expert on these markers, but I've gotten all kinds of questions about them lately, so I thought that I'd share with you some distinctions between the different types of Copic markers that I found on the Copic site.

Ciao
These are the ones that I own.
They are sold on the MFT website.
They are also sold individually on the Copic site for $3.95.
The body is round, and they come in 144 colors, and are also sold in various sets.
They have medium broad and super brush refillable nubs.
Sketch
These are the ones that Ellen Hutson is selling in her store.
They have medium broad and super brush refillable nubs.
They come in 310 colors.
They have a oval body, and are sold on the Copic site for $5.95 each.
Copic
These have a square body.
They come in 214 colors.
These offer interchangeable nubs, with a total of 9 available, with varying weights and styles.
They are sold on the Copic site for $5.95 each.
Wide
These have a flat body.
They have extra broad or broad calligraphy nubs.
They come in 36 colors, and are sold on the Copic site for $6.95 each.

Hope this answers, at least, some of your questions. I'm still finding out more and more about them, myself. There is a wonderful tutorial on SCS, by Kathy Sanders, that you MUST check out if you're considering making the investment. So much to learn!!! :)

Talk to you soon!

Last One!

This is the last card of this series. I used a transparency to stamp the sentiment on, and it looks a little funny in the pic. When you're looking straight on, you don't see that shadow. I'm sure that someone already played with the gifts in her hands, instead of the cake, but I haven't seen it yet, so at 11pm at night when I made it, I was thinking I was pretty brilliant! LOL The thing I'm not 100% sure about is the dotted background. I can't decide if I like it or not, but I got tired of fiddling with it! KWIM?!?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! We have company here now, and Wyatt's birthday party is Sunday, so I'm sure I'm going to be pretty busy for the next few days, but I'll be checking in soon!

xox,
K

P.S. Several people have asked me where to get the best deal on the Copics, and I got mine from MFT. Kim has the best prices around that I have found. And she got them to me super fast! Check them out here. Click on Products, and then Ink it Up. They come in 4 sets of 36. I got A and B, but I'm already droolin' over C and D! ;)

This adorable card was made for me by Amy Wilkerson. She is a super sweet girl that found me through her blog, and is also a member of my SU! group, though we've never met! We swapped some House Mouse images, and she added this card to her sweet package! Thanks so much, Amy, and I apologize for it taking me so long to post it! :)

Make a Wish

Reposted: This card was published in the December, '07 issue of Cards, pg.150.

I made this card, while playing with my new Copics. There's not much special about the coloring, except that I love how bold and bright that the markers make the image. I also liked how the cake went with this paper, so I stuck with another fairly simple layout for this one.

I used Jen's "upside down piercing" technique, and I love the dimension it adds! The stamps set is from MFT's You Take the Cake set, and I'm not sure who made the ribbon.

My in-laws will get here tonight, so I've got to get myself moving today! I haven't cleaned worth a lick, but darned if I didn't get 5 cards done in the past 2 days! LOL Just like me to have my priorities in order! :)

Have a fabu day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow!

I Finally Got Them!!!

I finally made the splurge, after some enabling from Miss van der Saden and like folk, and got some Copic markers! I was able to get the first two sets, A and B, and now, of course, I need them all! I used the Papertrey CS to color on, and I think it blended pretty well. I wasn't thrilled with the WW for this technique.

Now, remember, this is my first attempt at Copic coloring, but I think it turned out pretty descent. I went with a simple layout for this, and tried to keep it "clean". The stamp set is from MFT, called You Take the Cake. I made three cards with this set and paper (American Crafts) that I'll be posting through the week.

Oh yeah, and I took Sherrie's advice and created some matching ribbon with the Copic marker. Cool idea! Have a wonderful day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Seven Things

So, I have been tagged by several people now to tell you all seven random things about myself. Evidently the ten weird things about myself, found in this post, left you dying to know more! {Just kidding ;)} Let me see if I can think of some more "interesting" things about myself...

1. I'm an Ohio State University Alumni, and so is my husband.

2. I'm also a quilter - though this stamping/blogging thing is REALLY cutting into my quilting time! :) (I may have mentioned this one before???)

3. I'm a certifiable Chocoholic - and I DO think there is such a thing as a chocolate addiction! (Though don't tell my husband...)

4. I'm a (unemployed) RN, though I started school to go into Elementary Education. I've been working as a SAHM for three years now. :)

5. My husband and I have been married for 8 years, though we've been together for 12. (Sorry, running out of "interesting" facts!)

6. I can't wait for the new Harry Potter book to come out, though, I'm not sure when I'll have time to read it!

7. Before I got pregnant, I was a vegatarian for a couple of years. Now I eat chicken, turkey, some fish, and a little red meat, but that's it. No pork or shellfish. It makes me sick.

Well, that's about it! I'm supposed to tag some people, but I'm pretty sure that most people have been covered by this round of "tag", already, but if you haven't, consider yourself so, and post a link back here!

xox,
Kirsten

P.S. I SO did have a card for you today, but had no time to take a pic, so there WILL be one tomorrow! See you then!

Jen's ATC Swap, Part 2

Finally, I have finished all of the cards needed to get done. My ATCs are now on their way to TX! I had some fun with these ones, because I just thought that the cupcakes just looked so yummy! You can't tell so much from the pic, but there is Stardust pen on the loopy icing line of each cupcake. It just adds the slightest hint of sparkle.

The stand is from MFT, and is part of the You Take the Cake set. I think it fits the cupcakes (from A Muse, along with the sentiment) quite nicely. I, actually, took a break from my Prismas to watercolor these. I used Wasabi, Regal, Rose, Pumpkin, and Going to color them in. The PP is from Imaginisce.

I'm not sure what I'll have for you tomorrow, but I plan to have something! I'll see you then, and have a great Monday!

Arrr, Matey!

This is the quick and easy invite for my little guy's birthday party next week. He absolutely loves Peter Pan, and walks around with pretend "swords" all of the time (ie., drum sticks, play screw drivers, spoons, play gulf clubs - you name it!). So, it was no surprise when he decided, after being presented with numerous choices for party theme, he decided on a pirate party.

I needed to get 20 invites done ASAP, so that I could give some of them to friends today. To aid me in this task, I enlisted the help of my hubby for cutting paper and ribbon and stamping the map and sentiment! He actually did pretty good! While he was doing that, I was coloring. I got 10 done, and I have to finish them today.

It's going to be a pretty busy week, actually. I have to finish and mail off my other ATC swap on Monday, and prepare for my in-law's arrival on Thursday, and get ready for Wyatt's party. It's pretty bad when you start to gauge how good you're week is going to be by how much stamping time you'll get to have! (Not that I do that... A friend was telling me... Wink!) I'm actually very excited about my inlaws coming. They're bringing my little niece to play with Wyatt, so he'll have a blast!

Anywho, I've decided that, for my Prismacolor Pencils, the Papertrey new CS is SO nice to color on. Even (hate to say it) better than my cherished WW! I'm really loving that paper, and am wondering how long I can wait to buy another pack! Is it just me, or do you start to panic when you're running low on white CS???

And lastly, I have some awesome news that I can't share with you for a while, but it's killing me, because I'm dying to tell you! Stay tuned! (Insert evil laugh here.)

Kirsten

Jen's ATC Swap, Part 1

This pint size group of cards is for super sweet Jen del Muro's ATC swap. I've signed up for 2 groups, and this is the first one. I found this little ATC sized Rubber Romance Tiffany stamp at Stampfest while we were there, and thought she'd be perfect for this swap. I kept the layout pretty simple, because the main image has a lot going on. I hope that everyone likes them!

I Prismacolored her, and sponged the edges. The PP is some pretty Prima paper that I got at my LSS, and the bkgd is Cuttlebugged with the A2 Bubbles folder. The green piece of CS is one of my new Prism papers that I received from that CPS contest. What a nice package they sent! One side is smooth for stamping, and the other textured. And what great colors! I thought about taking a pic. Maybe I'll get to that?!? The sentiment says You Brighten My Days, and it's from A Muse.

Hope everyone had a nice and safe holiday yesterday! We had a good time with friends, but we're dragging a bit this morning from the late night. Happy Hump Day, and I'll talk to you soon!

xox,
Kirsten

Happy Fourth!

I LOVE the new INs! This Wasabi is such a nice green! It's a bit lighter and not as drab as Garden Green, and it matches a lot of my patterned paper! I'm also loving this You Take The Cake MFT set! So much fun to color!

I colored the image with my Prisma Pencils, added a bit of Stickles to the flames, and Liquid Pearls to the icing. I Cuttlebugged the bkgd with the Happy Birthday A2 folder, and cut the scallop with my Slit punch. The little "dots" on the scallops were created with the 1/8 hole punch.

Happy Independence Day to all of my American friends! We will be enjoying a day at the beach this morning with some friends, and then a fireworks show tonight. I'm hoping that Wyatt doesn't freak this year from all of the noise - last year he was not impressed! What are your plans for today???

I'm not sure what tomorrow's post will bring at the moment, as I haven't created anything yet! ;) I'm working on a couple of ATC swaps that I will post when they're finished. Have a wonderful day! :)

Kirsten

Happy Oops!

Some of you may have seen the card that I hinted about yesterday on here today. I had to yank it, because it was accepted for publication a little bit ago. I just wanted you to know that I wasn't lying to you yesterday, or if you saw it, think you were imagining things when it's not here now! lol ;)

I hope that everyone has a wonderful 4th of July!

Kirsten

You're a Lifesaver

I'm taking a break from MFT for a second to show you this House Mouse card I made. This is the last "installment" of my House Mouse series. Like I said before, if you would like to trade some images, you can see all of the ones that I have in my House Mouse label on my sidebar.

I love this piece of Scenic Route paper that I found at my LSS in the bargain bin! The colors are just so happy! And doesn't that sentiment (from A Muse) go just perfectly with this stamp! I just LOVE when a plan comes together! ;)

The scallop photo corner was made with my square Marvy Giga punch. I just cut it on the angle with my trimmer, used my ruler to make a couple of centered lines for the notch and cut with my snips, and pierced it with my Tool Kit (man, I love that thing!). The brad is from the new SU! Catty - love those too! :)

One more Thanksgiving Falling for You card is on tap for tomorrow. Talk to you then!

xox,
k
