Super Wyatt!

One of my little guy's favorite shows is Super Why, and if you've got a 3-4 year old boy or girl, then you probably know the show I'm talking about. It's on PBS and a great show to teach different reading skills. There's also a great Super Why www.pbskids.org game online for the kiddies to play and learn.

Well, the main character's name is Wyatt, and his "alter ego" is Super Why. Can you see where I'm going with this!?! I found this "W" in a bin at my LSS, and had to have it.

When I got home, I painted it with white paint all over, then covered it with some SU! paper from one of last year's Simply Scrappin' Kits. The ribbon is wrapped around and stapled to the back. The "Wyatt" letters are AC Thickers.

The stamped images came from Pink Cat Studio's Billy set. I colored little Wyatt in the same colors as the character, and even added (my favorite part!) his Super Spelling Wand for some detail! He looks pretty dog gone close, but the real Super Why is wearing sneakers and has a book on his chest. I didn't want to deal with the microscopic book, so I just used Lauren's idea with the letter from PTI's Simple Alphabet.

I used markers on the sentiment circle for the different colors, and mounted it on top of a Heidi Swapp star that's on top of a SU! punched star! The acetate adds stability and shine! It's all very dimensional.

Wyatt loves his special letter, so that makes me happy. It will now go up on his wall beside his bookcase.

And now I'm off! I'm planning a (probably my last) SU! style Stamp-a-Stack for this Friday, so I'm busily planning cards. It's extremely difficult for me to plan 5 (they make 4 of each one) different cards that are impressive looking, but quickly duplicated, so it's taking some time. I've got two done, but still have three to go! I'll show you one or two of them tomorrow. You can tell me what you think!

Till then...

Ahoy Matey!

This is another card that I made with Lizzie Anne's Simply Single pirate stamps and the Happy Birthday from Sketched Sentiments. I also used my SU! Jersey Shore PP. If you can't tell, the little guy's hat is elevated on some dimensionals. He's colored with Copics.

I've got so much to do this week, I'm a little overwhelmed. So, I might not be as consistent on the blogging, but I'll do my best! Now I've got to run and get going with our day!

I "talk" to you soon!

I Like You a Latte

Thanks to all of you who voted for my card to be one of the winners of the PTI Blog Hop Challenge last night! That was SO much fun! There was a lot of inspiration on both that list, and the "Extras" list. You can still go check it out at the above link. Anyways, you guys ROCK! :) This is a recent MFT card that I made using Hearts Galore set that I just got from Kim. I picked up some MM Sheer Frames at Michaels the other day, and had to use one with this set. I also used some SU! and Creative Cafe buttons, May Arts ribbon, and a metal edged tag.

The paper is all from PTI, and I Cuttlebugged the Sweet Blush paper. The image was colored with Copics, which reminds me... I'm SO getting my C and D boxes THIS WEEK! I can't hardly wait to finally play with those colors! Wohoo!!!

Well, I think that's about it! I'm now off to get ready to go to dinner with some friends tonight! Have a wonderful Saturday!

Till tomorrow...

April Blog Hop!

Thanks for coming to check out my card! This is my second PTI post of the day with Pond Life! I hope that you like what you see! If you do, click on THIS LINK after 8pm EST, to go vote for me! I'd SO appreciate it! :) So, I had a bit of difficulty with this challenge because it involved printing with my printer! As much as I love the patterned paper, it turned out not so cool with the colors my printer made it, leaving me with few ink choices. I'm happy with how it turned out, though, and my hubby approves of my attempt at a "man card"! LOL
*
I used the PP by punching them into 3/4 in squares and creating a background with them. I used my Ornare piercing template for the dragonfly "trail", and created wings for the dragonfly with velum. The "my son" was stamped with second generation Marigold Morning, since the Summer Sunrise was too bright for the paper my printer created.
*
I finished it off with some MSL ribbon and a Creative Cafe button. The "thread" was made with tiny paper strips and a glue dot on the back.
*
Now, I'm off to go get dinner, and then check out all of the other "finalists"! Have fun Blog Hopping! :)

xox,

Lemon Tart Rocks!

This is my first Pond Life card, and I'm really liking that set! The turtle is adorable, and you may have noticed that I really like dragonflies, so I immediately popped it in my cart on release day! And did I mention that I love Lemon Tart?

I did fiddle around with the dragonfly for a bit, though. I wanted to make the head the same color as the body with the wings different colors, so I kept trying different things. Then I just decided to cut the head out of a Berry Sorbet stamped dragonfly, and glue it on top! I also stamped the wings on velum, folded them up, and glued them down in the middle. I like how it turned out. I also popped up the turtle's head at the top, to make it look like he was looking around.

Did you see my "patterned paper"? I finally put to good use my Faux Ribbon set for something other than the sentiments! It took a small chunk of time, but I like the result. It makes for PP that's sure to match your card!

And now I'm off to get on with my day! I hope to have some stamping time later, though. Have a good one, and TGIF! :)

This Hug's for You

Some days I pre-post my ramblings, but today, I'm actually writing this at 5am! Yuck. I can't sleep. So what better to do than get up and try to get something done, right!?

Anywho, I kind of have an affinity for monkey images, since that's what I affectionately call Wyatt a lot of the time. (I mean really - he's a three yr old boy. There's MANY similarities!) However, I was holding out with this set from C.C. Designs because I feel like I've GOT to draw the line SOMEWHERE!

Well, evidently this wasn't the place to draw it, because as soon as I saw the new set with the monkey hanging from the balloon, I was hooked!!! I immediately placed my order for both of those sets, and one penguin set. I'm weak, I say. Weak.

But COME ON! How cute is that image?! It wasn't my fault, really...

So, back to the card. I had this negative space square of paper from a scallop circle that I die/punched out. I was about to throw it away, and then I thought that it would make a cute window. I stamped and colored with Copics the little monkey on white CS, then trimmed to fit just inside the square. Then I elevated the pink layer with Dimensionals.

Paper is Crate Paper's Blue Hill line, flower is Maya Road, and ribbon is from PTI. I also threw on a few Dew Drops to bring out more of the darker pink.

Well, that's about it! Tomorrow should bring a PTI card, so I'll see you then!

Four

This the Lizzie Anne Simply Single Dump Truck, and I've got to say that I love this layout. It's clean and funky, and I was inspired by a scrapbook page that I saw in a recent magazine.

I'm not sure who this card will go to yet, but since all of Wyatt's friends are turning four, I figured that this would be safe bet! LOL

PP is from SU!, and the "4" is an AC Thicker. The dashed lines are Doodlebug rub-ons that I thought resembled street lines. I used my SU! punches for the circle and cut-outs. Buttons are also SU!, and the "thread" pieces are tiny paper strips.

Well, thanks for stopping by, and for your well wishes and sympathy regarding Wyatt's church "incident"! Also, some of you have emailed me questions about recent postings, and I'm not ignoring you, I've just not had a lot of time to get to them, but I will!!!

Now, I'm off to get going with my day! "See" you tomorrow with a CC Designs card!

"Friends are the Flowers...

...in the garden of life." That is what the sentiment says, though you can barely see it in this pic!

This is my first Garden of Life card. I'm loving that set! And did I mention I'm totally drooling all over my Lemon Tart paper! I'll need to buy more for sure! LOL If you can't tell, the center flower and it's leaf is raised up on Dimensionals.

The PP is from We R Memory Keepers. It has the best colors in it, including the two new PTI colors! The butterflies are from K&Company.

Well, folks! I'd better get running! I'm meeting a friend for some exercise. I'm back on my Abs Diet, so wish me luck!

New Lizzie Anne!

This is the new LAD set, called Le Jardin. It's a sister set to the very popular Jolies Fleurs, and it's awesome! I just got my new sets Saturday in a shipment of happy mail, and got a chance to play yesterday!

In another happy mail box I got my new PTI goodies! I'm so loving these colors! I used all PTI paper, except for the SU! Basic Black. Lemon Tart is my new favorite color! It's the prettiest yellow I've seen in a long time. I just keep looking at that ribbon! LOL

Well, I'm going to keep it short and sweet today, so I'll see you back here tomorrow for a PTI card!

Haul in the Gangplank Me Hearties!

This is my "treasure chest" card - I thought that it turned out pretty cute! MY little Picaroon likes it, anyways! He likes to open it! LOL My favorite part is the key hole. I used my 1/4 circle punch and a craft knife.

This cutie pie pirate is from Lizzie Anne Designs, as are the sentiments. The "happy birthday" comes from Sketched Sentiments, and the other two stamps are Simply Singles from the winter release.

I just got my sets from this release, and OMGoodness, as soon as I'm done writing this little blurb, I'm off to play before the Landlubbers come in and want "mommy time"! LOL
You can see from the above pic how the card opens. I used my new Scor-Pal, and I must admit, that though I wasn't an immediate believer, I'm getting a lot of use out of it! (Mimi, I can see the look on your face in my head right now. :)) So thanks to all of you enablers out there! LOL

I used my Curvy Cutter from CM to make the curve on the front and rounded the corners. The circle has a Summer Sun smaller circle behind it separated with Dimensionals for depth.

And here's the little Freebooter. He's colored with Copics. I cut out his sword and elevated it at the tip for dimension.

Hope you like my little card. It was fun to make! Now it's time for me to sign off. My little Powder Monkey and big Cockswain just returned to the Poop Deck from outside, and my attention is needed...

Till tomorrow,

Your Drivelswigger :)

Bling Bucket and some Yada Yada

So, I've got a lengthy post today, so either check out the pix and move along with your "blurfing", or grab a cup of coffee, cause here I go! I DO have some big news at the end!!!

First off, about this cute little paint can... This is the Michael's Bridal Flower can from my birthday shopping trip last night. While looking at the display, I picked up these adorable little Bling Rings. I thought BONUS - and immediately knew what I wanted to do!

When I got home, I removed all of the stickers from the can, and dumped out the flowers. I grabbed my new SEI ribbon and paper and got to work! Little Miss Lily is colored with Copics, and I added a crown and her little purse, since she's a glamour girl today!

For the top, I just punched a scalloped circle with my Marvy Giga punch, and adhered it down. Aren't these little rings the cutest?! This is one of the gifts that I'm making for Wyatt's little friend, Sophie, for her upcoming birthday.

Here's a close-up of little Lily...Moving on...

So today, Dave, Wyatt, and I arrive at church 45 minutes late for Wyatt's Beginner class. Dave immediately goes into the Big Red Bus, because for some reason, he loves to give blood, and Wyatt and I run on into his class. RIGHT BEFORE we step into the class, he says "Mommy, I want to hold you." That's not new - he's sometimes a little shy when he first gets there, then in a minute or two, he warms up and participates.

Well, we go and find our seats. He sits down and IMMEDIATELY commences to throwing up ALL over him and I. No warning. I sat stunned for a half second, then scooped him up and started to run out the door. He pukes two more times on the way for full effect.

I had to get a friend of mine to go run and get Dave before he got all hooked up and she also, thankfully, and a full set of clothes in her car. Thanks a million, Amanda!!!

He had a fever on Tuesday, and a little Wednesday, but it was all respiratory. I have no idea where this came from! Oh well. He probably picked something else up, which means I'm sure to get it! I swear, it feels like we've been sick for months!

Well, he's now watching Bug's Life and seems better, so hopefully that was all of it!

In other news, in case you haven't seen THIS POST, check it out! The owner of American Art Stamp has decided that he needs a Design Team, and Michelle, as the DT coordinator, has come up with a great team! I CAN'T WAIT to get my hands on those stamps, so that I can start playing! You can check out the links to the other new members on my sidebar (if not on Michelle's post). The Kym Bowles and Karen Stolper lines are my faves!

Well, I think that that's enough for now! I'm tired of typing and I'm hoping to get something cute made today - if my stomach holds out - now I'm not so sure... Yuck!!! Well, I hope that YOU all have a great afternoon, at least! LOL

Happy Father's Day

This is a MFT card that I made late last night when I should've been in bed. :) I wanted to use my cutie new watermark that Kim had made for all of her DT. Sara Williams made them for us, and I love it!

I used Happy Occasions for this Father's Day card. The ties are popped up on dimensionals, and the scallop square was punched with my Marvy Giga punch. Cardstock and ribbon are from PTI, PP is from MME, and the brad is from Creative Cafe.

I've had this stinking card base with the ribbon and blue card front PP on my desk with that other PP for months, and I've just gotten around to finishing the card! It was for another purpose, but I thought it would be nice Dad's Day colors!

Now I'm off to try and get something made this afternoon! Have a good one!

Hey Cupcake!

I'm such a picture snob. I'm so picky, which is ironic, since I have no photography training at all! :) I think that this picture is pretty crappy, but you get the drift. I got tired of fiddling with it! If any of you all know of a CHEAP photo set-up box, send me a link! Help a sistah out! LOL

I used some new goodies on this card - my cutie new Bella, new Basic Gray Cupcake paper, and my new Doodlebug ribbon! Love new stuff!!! The sentiment is from A Muse, and the circle stamp is from PTI. I loved how it fit perfectly in the metal edged tag! The main image is, as almost always, colored with Copic markers. It's a 5 1/4 in. sq. card.

Well, that's about it! Have a wonderful Hump Day, and stay tuned for some coolio news that I'll hopefully be able to share soon!

WHERE'S my Super SUIT?!?

This card REALLY gets me in the mood to watch the Incredibles with my sick little guy! He's caught a yucky bug and has a fever. Poor little Monkey had to miss one of his best bud's 4th birthday party yesterday!

I REALLY wanted to get little Brennan a super suit for his gift, but a dinosaur dig set wrapped in Batman paper will have to do for my super hero theme! I had the whole gift planned out, but couldn't find the suit ANYwhere!
I came up with this "cape" card idea on the way home from LTM, and couldn't wait to execute it! I used my Curvy Cutter from CM for the sides and bottom, and adhered the ribbon on the inside for the neck tie. The images are from Pink Cat Studio's Billy set - OMW so CUTE! I'm loving Billy and Lily to death! (You can enter to win your OWN Billy set here!)

The tag was made to obviously be tied onto the box, and I had Wyatt fill it out in his handwriting. I LOVE that part! The "To" and "From" were stamped with PTI's Simple Alphabet set and the white detail at the top of each card is from PTI's Faux Ribbon set. The sentiment on the card is from A Muse.

Hope you like these - I had a BLAST (no pun intended) making them, and Wyatt was so thrilled he could "help"! :) I'll be back tomorrow with a card that is Bellarific!

And One More Thing...

I wanted to send out a thank you for those that sent me birthday cards! It's so awesome to get something special when I walk out to get the mail! I've got a pic to share (that I've shamelessly stolen off her blog) of a card that Monica, from Hambo Stamps sent me! I love that sentiment...I think. ;) It's a great card that's even better IRL! Thanks so much, Monica, for the awesome pop-up card! Too cute!

A Special Kind of Sale

A few days ago Kim from My Favorite Things let us know that her friend Tish has just lost her fight to ovarian cancer. She leaves behind a family, including two young boys. In order to help out the family, Kim has pledged to raise money to go towards the boys education. Here are the deets, but for all of the info, check out Kim's blog.

1) Starting tomorrow, I am offering a 10% discount on ALL stamps on the site. Use the coupon code Tish at checkout to receive 10% off all all the stamps in your shopping cart. (It won’t discount your other merchandise, just stamps.) The coupon code will run from Tuesday, April 15th-Friday, April 18th.

2) I will donate 10% of ALL proceeds (including money spent on other items on the site) to the family at their April 26th benefit.

FYI - The discount applies only to retail orders…

I am making it my goal to personally pay for the FL College Pre-Paid plan for the boys during an entire year which will be about $1200. Please help me reach this goal. And should you feel moved to do so, please email me for the family’s address, as I am quite sure they would love some happy mail. (And given that Tish was an SU demo, those hand-made cards WILL be appreciated!)

Love Blooms

So did you all "get your Papertrey on" last night? Whacha get??? I'm loving the new colors! Really gets you in the mood for Summer, that's for sure!

This card was made with last month's releases, and I think it's the first time I opened that tag set! Bad stamper! I was going to submit it for the GSS contest, but I figured it was a little too "plain" for that. I did like how it turned out, though - nice and simple!

Tomorrow should bring you a cutie birthday card, Bella style! See you then!

Loads of Fun!

Wednesday, Lizzie Anne is releasing 4 totally rockin' new sets! Wohoo! This is not one of them, or a "set" at all, but it's one of LAD's Simply Singles. However, you can check out the "some" of the new sets here!

Also, if you get the LAD Newsletter, then you know about the Stamp Safari that will be going on tomorrow night, but if you don't, then make sure that you head to the LAD forums Tuesday at 6pm PST for a treasure hunt of sorts! It's sure to be loads of fun! PLUS, you will have the chance to win one of four new released sets! Just make sure that you're registered on the LAD forum so that you can play!

Now I'm off to try to make a card before Naptime is over! Have a good one!

Lily Lolly

Can you SEE her cutie butterfly wings??? That's my favorite part of this card! They're from Heidi Swapp. I wish you could see all of the dimension that they create. There's glue dots b/w the card and wings and the wings and Lily.

I was majorly enabled by the first thing that Lauren posted with this Pink Cat Studio set, Dress up Lily (click on the "Lily" link above), and immediately clicked and purchased this set and the Billy set (that one reminds me so much of Wyatt!). My favorite part of this set, though, is the nurse hat and thermometer (being that I'm a nurse, of course!)! Too cute!So good morning, and hello!!! I know it's been a while, but I didn't get a chance to stamp until yesterday, and had no chance to post till this morning!

This was a fun little project that I made using this pattern, and I think I'm going to make another one similar to it, but make the transparency part only on the top. We'll see when I get the chance for that, though! Can you see that Lily is a lolly herself? (Click on the pic for a closer look, if you can't see.) I cut her and the scallop layer with my Nesties, and popped it up on the box with Glue Dots. Then, I rolled a thin strip of WW paper and secured with Mini Glue Dots to make the "stick". Not to pat my own back, but I really think that it turned out cute. :)I have the perfect little girl that this set will go to - you can see her cute face here. This is Maggie, and she's my very good friend Mimi's little girl. She made me the NICEST birthday gifts last week, and I had to make her something special back to thank her! Love you Maggie! :)

Well, now I'm off to go spend some time with MY little one! Have a great day, and tomorrow will bring a Lizzie Anne card! See you then!

Yada Yada Yada

So sorry that I've been absent! I just haven't had a second to stamp, and it's killing me! LOL Hopefully today will bring some spare time to get inky! I'm not sure that's going to happen, though - my wonderful friend Mimi's going to take me out to lunch for my birthday, and we're going out with my Dad tonight at Carrabas! Yum!

Here's hoping for a productive naptime...

Fabulous Friend

Can you believe this is the first card I've ever made with this MFT set, Let's Go for a Walk??? I had to have it, and HAVE had it for quite a while, and have been dying to use it, but just haven't had the opportunity! Well, when I saw Lauren's sketch from a week or two ago, I knew that I wanted to play with this set!

I flipped her sketch, and used more PP (Ki), but I like how it turned out with the circles! The image was, of course, colored with Copics, and the ribbon is May Arts. I love that paw print PP!

Well, we had wonderful time at Disney World. We have Season Tickets now, so we'll be back often. It DID rain - a lot - but surprisingly we had a great time, anyways! It was good family-wise, not so much weather-wise. :) If I had to pick, though, that's how I'd want it!

Well, hopefully I'll get some stamping done today! I got some goodies in the mail, recently, that I'd love to play with, but the house is a mess, so we'll have to see how it goes!

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Hanna Release Day

Today is the release for the new Hanna sets, Tool Time and Passport. Go check them out HERE.

For this card, I only used one little stamp from the new Passport release, and that's the sun. The sentiments (I combined two of them) are from Things Hanna Would Say, and the topiary is from the last release, the Small Breed set.

This PP is from Ki Memories (again), and ribbon is from SU! I used Copics and SU! circle punches. And there's a Dew Drop in the sun.

Well, that's about it! Make sure you skidoodle on over to the Hanna site to check out the new sets! And I'll have more Rileys for you to see soon, too!

Now I'm off to get ready to get my Disney on! I'll be checkin' in via Twitter, and maybe I'll write a blog post, too? Who knows if I'll be able to fit it into all the "magic"! LOL

Do You Twitter?

I was just perusing the SCS forums a little while ago, while waiting for Wyatt to wake from his nap, and I saw a thread on Twitter. I had heard of this, but paid no attention. Well, she made me want to go check it out!

I started an account, and added a live feed to my sidebar, right under the Feedblitz subscriber box! You can follow people - even if it's not me :) - and get texts or emails when your friends update. It's kind of a micro blog, but with real-time updates! Sort of like texting all of your friends at once, when you've got something to share.

It's probably another way for me to waste (I mean spend!) my time, but I thought it looked like fun to try out! Just thought I'd explain what was over there!

An Award and Some Other Stuff

This morning, the super mega sweet and fabulous Christie Ortman (THE original Pretty Girl of Paper Pretties!) sent me an email to let me know (like she's not on my GReader! :)) that she nominated me for this Arte Y Pico award! Thanks so much, Christie!

I met Christie last year in Orlando, at StampFest, and it would be impossible not to like her - not that I tried - but she's just very friendly and personable! :) I'm looking forward to seeing her again in Chicago for Summer CHA. Anyone else going???

Anywho, about the award...

The rules of this award are....

1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community,no matter what language.

2. Each award has to give the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.

3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.

4. Award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte y Pico blog ,so everyone will know the origin of this award.

5. To show these rules.

So, now it's my turn...

I hate this part, but here I go, in no particular order...

Sophia

Christina

Kimmie

Cyndi

Michelle

So, there you are, Ladies (and Gentlemen?)! Go check out these super cool chicks, if you haven't already, and save their links! You'll love them!

Remember, tonight's the release party for Hanna Stamps in the SCS forum from 9-11pm! You'll be able to grab up the new sets after the party (I think at Midnight, but I'll let you know if not)!

Speaking of release parties - did you get the MFT's from last night??? I got there, but it was later on in the party. Did you check out the new sets??? Which are you getting, or both?!

Now I'm off to get breakfast for Wyatt and I! Have a great day, and I'll try to be back later with a Hanna card. :)

Life is in Full Bloom

I'm going to keep this short, 'cause the party's still going on over in the MFT forum on SCS. Say Hey if you go, but you've got to read fast! Those gals are quick! LOL

Anywho, this is my last "teaser" for you with this set (Can Ya Dig It), but it's sure to show up here again, as it's too cute to stay kept on the shelf! LOL

Till tomorrow...

xox,
K

Fine Print...
Stamps: Can Ya Dig It
Paper: SU! Passion, Apricot, POP, PTI, Lilac
Ink: Passion Craft, ApricotBrilliance Graphite
Accessories: Copics, Prima, MM bling, MSL punch

MFTeaser: Can Ya Dig It

How aDORable are the images in this set??? And I haven't even showed you the "headless lady" yet! LOL My absolute fave stamp in the new MFT Can Ya Dig It is that bird! LOVE it! Oh, well, the bird and this sentiment! :) That is the song that I sing to my little Wyatt at least twice EVERY day! I was so excited to see it in a stamp!

Let's see, what to tell you about this card. Well, I used seven different stamps to make up the main image - not counting the sentiment. I paper pieced the wheelbarrow and watering can. The seed packet is 3D, and sticks out of the wheelbarrow. There is Stickles on the flower, LA on the bunny tail, and a rhinestone on the wheel.

The PP is from Doodlebug and the aqua paper is Bazzill. Flower is Prima, bling and ribbon is SU!, black brad is Bazzill. SU!'s WW punch for the tab.

Well, that's about it. The release date is tonight, and so is the Release Cocktail Party, too. See below for the deets...

***My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com) is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, April 2 from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time. Lots of fun is planned including finding out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. Head over to the MFT forum on www.splitcoaststampers.com to find out all the details and we hope to see you there on Wednesday night. ***

Later, I'll post my last MFTeaser for this release. There's a new technique used on it that also has to do with one of the challenges that will be posted tonight in the forum! Make sure that you check it out!

Have a great day!

Simple Card Sketch

This is a clean and simple card from a clean and simple sketch. I used my Lizzie Anne set, Happy Birthday, for this and my new PTI paper, ink, and ribbon. The flower and brad are Bazzill.

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the sentiment so that the tiny flower became the larger flower's center. You can do so many things with negative image stamps! The line of candles, though, is probably my favorite stamp. Well, I hope that you'll try the sketch - it's a breeze! Remember to let me know if you do, by leaving a comment here with your link. You can also add ked6 to the keyword section, if you upload it to SCS. Love to see what you do with it!

Remember to stay tuned for tomorrow's MFTeasers! I'll have two - one in the am and one during the Cocktail Party tomorrow night! Hope to "see" you all there (and here!)! More info on that is to follow...

Happy April Fools Day!

No tricks here, folks! :)

I am so sorry that I've misplaced the few of you who have tagged me for the 7 Things about You tag. I tried to find the emails/comments, but to no avail. I did this a while back, but I'll try to give you some new information, and in no apparent order... ;)

1. I am a Disney fanatic. We just got season passes - again - and I'm much worse than Wyatt when it comes to my level of anticipation about going! LOL I never tire of the "magic"! It brings back so many wonderful memories of family trips as a child.

2. I get motion sick, and have to sit in the front seat, or I'll get majorly nauseous. My hubby thinks it's an excuse to always get "shotgun", but his stomach is like an iron vault, so he can't relate.

3. My original major in college was Elementary Education, and sometimes I regret that I didn't go that way. My dad and soon-to-be hubby talked me into nursing d/t the flexibility and job security. It was a rough time in my life, and I gave in. For the most part, I'm happy with the decision.

4. I'm seriously thinking about home schooling Wyatt through first grade, and then sending him to school. I've talked to a lot of people, including educators, and right now, I'm thinking that this is what's right for us. Maybe that'll change.

5. I'm not a jewelry person. I wear my wedding rings and that's it 99% of the time. I'll throw on a pair of earrings for a REALLY special occasion, but that's about it.

6. I don't eat pork or shellfish. It makes me sick - literally. I used to eat it, but have gotten so grossed out by it since then that I quit a few years ago. I love pork flavored things, though! There are two packages of turkey bacon in my fridge right now! LOL We also eat lots of vegetarian food, even though we do eat beef and poultry. I'd say I'm a pseudo vegetarian. :)

7. I love tree frogs and have one tattooed on my foot...okay fine...and one on my back, too. :) Kind of embarrassed to admit that, but oh well! LOL They're small-ish, and were done in my "wild year and a half that wasn't all that wild" after I was married. Would I do it again? I'd do my foot, but not my back. My mom liked the foot one. :)

So are you sorry you asked??? LOL More than you wanted to know, I'm sure. :) I have a tendency to do that - give you more than you really wanted to know! Just ask my closest friends and family - but they've grown to love that quality in me - I'm sure of it - despite what they say. ;) LOL

Well, that's it about me! I'll be back later today with a Lizzie Anne card and sketch, and soon with more MFTeasers! I'll also have more Hanna for you, so stay tuned! Till then...

xox,
Kirsten
