I Shore Am!

Can you guess who SHORE was glad to be asked to join the Lizzie Anne Design Team?!? It was about 4 in the morning when I got up to check on Wyatt and happened to check my inbox, when I read Meridith's email. I had to re-read it in the morning to make sure it wasn't a dream! LOL Of course, I HAD to say yes. Their stamps are AWESOME, and SO fun to design with! Thanks, Meridith and Tricia, for such a cool honor!

And of course, I had to make a Lizzie Anne card to post today! :) This was made with the set, Shore Thoughts. One of my favorite things about this set is the sentiments! Love the fonts and actual sentiments. This layout came from Julee, from Poetic Artistry, and the color combo is this week's Color Challenge on SCS. I absolutely love the layout, and it's one that I'm sure I'll be using again! (Thanks, Julee!) The sentiment was stamped on a transparency with White Stazon, and then layered on the black CS.

Well, I hope that you're all having as good of a week as I am! I truly feel SO blessed and humbled to have the opportunity to serve on such wonderful Design Teams, and work with these awesome companies. Everyone that I've met, through the last few months have been so amazing, and I'm honored to be a part of it all! Okay, I know, mushy moment, but I gotsta keep it real, ya know?!? ;)

See you tomorrow!

xox,
K

Break Out the Lingerie!

Did THAT title get your attention??? LOL This is the paint can that I have aluded to for the past few days. I finished it yesterday afternoon, and I was totally planning to wait and post it this Saturday, but I got so excited! I just had to share it now!!!
*
This is the can that contains all of the goodies in My Favorite 48, the special that Kim is releasing on the 1st! Yours will be filled Kim's hand-picked Prismacolor Pencils, a Pebbles click eraser, a sanding block, a collection of blending stumps, AND this new set, Shower Time! Check out this post on Kim's blog for all of the deets, PLUS a pic of the whole set!
*
Most of the girls have altered their paint cans to be a pretty place to hold their pencils, and they SO are (have you SEEN what everyone is cooking up with this set and paint can!?!)! Well, I wanted to do something a bit different. I thought it'd be a good idea to show another use for the can, as well as the new set. Hence, this bridal shower gift... I filled it with some of my under-used lingerie (for the picture - I wouldn't actually give someone MY lingerie! Ew! LOL), and created a fun little package for a soon-to-be bride. I used the new Shower Time set, as well as my Basic Grey Romani paper and ribbon. I also was inspired by some of the great packaging ideas over at Papertrey Ink, and created a window with which to see the pretties inside! I used my CM Circle Cutting System to do that.

Here's the top of the can, otherwise known as the lid! ;) I used my QuicKutz Cookie Cutter dies for all of the scallop circles in this project. For the main image, I used my Prismacolor Pencils (of course!).

I added a tiny flower to her shirt, by using one of the little flowers in the set, and omitting the stem. Then, I used that same flower to decorate the larger scallop circle's scallops (say that 3 times fast!). That was my favorite part! I also let her "borrow" Sneak Peek #1's pearl necklace (created with Liquid Pearls)! The Prima Sprites came from Lindsey.

Hope you like is as much as I had fun making it! Happy Hump Day, and I'll see you tomorrow with an announcement!

xox,
Kirsten

Raindrops Are Fallin' on my Head

Okay, I'm totally humming that song in my head right now! Forget humming - now I'm full out singing!!! How can you NOT? I've got so much fun news coming down the pipe (Or is it pike? Don't know! :)), that I can't NOT sing! I love music - how about you? I love stamping with my iPod on. My frequently played albums are Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Fergie, and Justin Timberlake. :) (I like to get pumped up and happy to stamp, if you couldn't tell!) What do you like to listen to???

Alright, now to the card. I was going to hold off on posting this card, since the release isn't until Saturday, but since Jen (Thanks, Jen!) linked me on her blog as having samples of the new MFT set, I figured that I'd better give you more than ONE thing to look at! LOL So, here is Sneak Peek #2. Don't you just LOVE her??? I have so many ideas floating around in my head for this set! It could be used for either bridal or baby showers, OR a variety of other things. For instance, it could be used with sentiments that say something like "you brighten my days" or "sending you sunshine". She would make super cute ATCs, too!
Also, later in the week, I'll show you a paint can that I altered, using this set, that would make an adorable gift! Again, if you haven't already, check out Kim's blog for all of the details on her two releases this Saturday - this set and her My Favorite 48 offer! Now look! I veered off again! :) Card! (focus, Kirsten) This is a sketch from CPS (26). Do you not LOVE that site! Those girls rock, and I love having a sketch to fall back on each week!

I colored the lovely lady with Prismacolor Pencils and Copics, and paper pieced the umbrella. Do you notice the raindrops? (See pic below if you don't! ;)) I used my Crystal Effects to make rain. I even splattered it on the umbrella, and have it dripping off the edge! I really like the effect.

Well, I hope that you like this! I wish I could say the whole process making it was a blast, but not until the VERY end was I happy with it! I won't even TELL you how long it took me to make this card! I hate when that happens, but I am pretty happy with the results.
Hope you have a good afternoon! Now, I've gotta go! More to do before Naptime is over! :)

Shower Time Sneak Peek #1

September 1st is only a few days away, so we've got the go ahead from Kim to post our Shower Time samples! This is one that I created last week some time. Isn't she so cute with her umbrella???

I watercolored the image with my Aqua Painter and ink pads, paper pieced the umbrella, and added a pearl necklace with my Liquid Pearls! The scallop was created with my Slit Punch, and I sponged the edges of the Sky CS.

Hope you like her! I'll have more stuff for you to see throughout the week, but make sure you check out Kim's post, for all of the deets on My Favorite 48 AND to see the complete new set!

Little Things

I've slowly been working my way back into my stamping groove. This is a card that I made for this last weeks Sketch Challenge. I used my new PTI set, Beautiful Blooms, as well as the older set, Little Lady. I stamped the cream with my barely moist cream Craft pad, and stamped off the Caramel for the leaves. The ribbon is more from my May Arts share (from Jody).

I was able to make a few more cards, mostly for the new MFT release, though! It is called Shower Time, and is adorable! I will post a sneak peek tomorrow, so stay tuned. The release date is Sept. 1st, so only a few days away! Also released on that day is Kim's great idea of My Favorite 48! She hand-picked 48 of the best Prismacolor Pencils' colors, and she's selling them in an adorable paint bucket, with several "necessaries", and the new stamp set for only $75! Make sure that you check out this post on Kim's blog for all of the deets! I will have mine all prettied up, and ready to post later this week!

See you all tomorrow! Have a great evening!

One More... (I think)

When in doubt, go with what you know, right!? Well, the abs diet that I'm on (http://www.absdietonline.com/) is kicking my behind, BUT it seems to be working, so that's good. The problem is that I'm so tired, when I get to stamping time, that I'm drawing a blank. So, here's another Kick Stand card, because, right now, that is what I know! LOL

I've got all kinds of inspiration - new Lizzie Anne stamps (and Papertrey Ink and Hambo Stamps are on the way!!!), TONS of GORGEOUS ribbon from Jody's August share, Lindsey's goodie bag from her contest, my Cards goodie box should be here ANY DAY NOW, yummy new Prima Sprites, new MFT stamps (I DID make one sample there, so far, but can't show it), etc, etc, etc... And nothing.

This morning, while Wyatt was occupied with something, I watercolored a Petey that I stamped at a friend's house. I'm determined to make that into something! Also, I need to play more with my MFT set for sneak peeks for you guys. The set is so cute - you're going to love it! It'll release on Sept. 1st, so mark your calendars!

Okay, back to the card! I WAS able to use some new May Arts ribbon from the share. I love the vibrant colors, and the card was inspired by the ribbon. Also, I was able to squeeze in some of my horded Primas, that I forget to use! The image was colored with Copic markers and the Lilac layer was Cuttlebugged with a Happy Birthday folder.

Now, I'm off to "play". Mimi just came over to bring my PTI sets and paper to me, so maybe I'll start with that! (Notice my mood shift in this paragraph?!? LOL) Have a great day, and I'll talk to you soon!

Time's Fun

I so love this little guy! And again, with the sentiment - adorable! This is a quick and cute card and layout that I made for Hambo. I used my Copic markers to color him in, and did some doodling around the circle. The circle was cut with my CM circle cutting system, and the scallop circle was cut with my QuicKutz Scallop Flower Cookie Cutter die set. I made the little holes in the scallops with my Paper Piercer. Hope you like it!

So, I'm trying to get back into the creative groove. My hubby and I have started the Abs Diet, and so we've been focusing on eating what we're supposed to and exercising, and I guess that's taking a lot of out me! For when it's my usual stamp time (ie, naptime and "night night time"), I SO don't feel like doing it. So, here I am, posting a card that I had previously made, to give you something to look at today!

I'm hoping, since my prize package from Lindsey and my Cards goodie box should arrive today, that I'll get back into that groove. We'll see how it goes! And now, I'm off to make my veggie omelet for the morning! :)

More Blogger RAKS!

In the past couple of days, I received two beautiful RAKS that reminded me of the little "need to upload" pile that I was "collecting". Let me tell you about these three...

The first one is from the wildly talented Bethany Paull, from It's Not All Black and White. I love what she did with this set! It was not a set that I was crazy about, but her card made me question that! She "Stickled" the flowers, so it's nice and sparkly! Thanks so much, Bethany, for thinking of me! :)

This card is not a Blogger RAK, but another birthday card for my little Wyatt. My friend, Mimi, made this for him, and he just loved it! I absolutely love the colors! Thanks, Mimi! You rock! :)

And last, but not least, a card from Laura! Miss Laura is from Lu-La's Corner, and makes the cutest cards! I love this one with the patterned papers and cowboy boots! Thank you, Laura, for thinking of me!
Thanks so much to all three ladies! They all rock, so you should go check out their blogs NOW! What are you waiting for??? ;)
xox,
Kirsten

Amy RAKS! (I mean she ROCKS!)

Sorry for the pun, but I couldn't help myself! Both of these cards are from the wonderfully sweet stamper, Amy Wilkerson. Are these not adorable!?!
Amy sent these to me months ago, and I'm embarrassed to say I'm just now posting them. Please accept my apologies, Amy.
I have no good excuse, saving a poor memory. I've had a stack of cards that I wanted to upload, either here or on SCS (or both, depending on where they know me from) sitting on my bookcase for a long time now, and I've simply forgotten to post them, while I'm posting other things.

Isn't this little guy cute with his sheriff's badge? She even faux metal embossed it! So cool IRL!
Thanks again, Amy - Wyatt LOVED his cowboy card, and it was so nice of you to think of him on his special day!

Kirsten

Another Post Already???

Some of you may remember me eluding to a Lizzie Anne card contest over at Embellished. Well, in my lack of creativity, I also failed to let you know (in case you don't read Lindsey Botkin's blog - you definitely SHOULD!) that I won best card layout!!! Yippee! I won a $25 gift certificate to Jacksonbelle Embellishments (that I could spend there with my eyes closed!!!), a goodie bag of ribbon and schtuff, and a Lizzie Anne stamp!
Well, I would show you the winning card, but it, also, was accepted for pub in the same magazine issue (as the card I mentioned in my previous post)! Wahoo!!! I even had to ask super sweet Miss Lindsey to remove it from HER blog! Although, I'm sure if you cared enough to think about it for a few seconds, you could figure out which card it was! ;)
And now I bid you good night! Hopefully, I'll have something to post tomorrow! :)

Where Have I Been???

I can't believe I haven't posted since Thursday!!! Time flies! Actually, I have just been tired lately, from lack of sleep last week, and I've finally caught up! I don't know about you, but if I'm at all sleepy, I can't come up with ANY ideas! I just sit and stare! How frustrating is that???

This is a replacement Kick Stand card. What am I talking about? Well, I'm so psyched because one of my KS cards was accepted for publication in January 2008! Yeah! Anywho, I had to remove it, and I wanted to give you something back, that I hope you'll like! Here it is... As you can see, I used the same paper and set as the card I showed you in this post. I also was able to find some more wide grosgrain at Michael's to match the paper! (First I couldn't get rid of it, and now I can't get enough! LOL) There is Sakura Stardust pen on the star trails, so it's nice and spa-kly, too! I paper pieced the star and cut it out. Then I adhered it with a dimensional for height. I like it hanging over the edge of the circle.
Well, I hope that you like THIS, and I'm SO loving seeing all of YOUR super cool KS cards! Thank you for linking them or emailing me! I'm glad to see other people having fun with them, too!

Have a great Monday, and I'll see you back here tomorrow! ;)

One More Thing...

FYI - I added a list on my sidebar, called StampSpeak and More. I've had a lot of questions lately about what CS, and PP, and PTI mean (etc...), and I figured that those folks probably weren't alone in their confusion. So for anyone who has no idea what I'm talking about when I use my abbreviations, this is for you! (You know who you are!!!)
And if I've left something out, just let me know! :)

Would the Following Person Come Forward...

Drum roll, please...

The winner of the Naptime Nuggets is...

Kerry J. who said...
"Congrats on the hits! I love your blog and all your great cards! I love most of the Hambo stamps but I especially love the Flipper Boy and the tea cup with the accompanying saying. Thanks for the great nuggets!"

I shouldn't be, because it's totally random, but I was kind of surprised when random.org picked #3! I guess I always think that a "random" number will be somewhere in the middle! I know it's silly.

Anyways, CONGRATS Kelly! Please email me with your mailing info, and I'll get your package out to you! I hope you have a lot of fun playing with it! And THANK YOU to all of you who commented! I LOVED hearing all of your faves! For my 100,000th hit, you could win something that's sure to be a FAVORITE! ;)

Now for the card, how CUTE is this skunk??? I love him! You can't tell from the picture, but he's stamped on Shimmer White CS, and is colored with my Copics.

And now I must be off to a friends for a play date! I'm going to take my quilt to hopefully get a bunch done on it while we're chatting! She's (Jeanine) working on a cutey little scrapbook for her daughter's teacher, so she can get to know her little Ava. What a great idea, huh! It's called "I Am Ava". So cute!

Far Out!

This was a fun card to play with! I used my Imaginisce paper and Autumn Leaves Astroboy stamp set that I love! The combo is so perfect for kid birthday cards!

The spaceship is elevated, and the windows were removed with a craft knife. I placed a tiny piece of transparency behind the holes to create a window. There is another Olive spaceship underneath, flush with the white CS to create depth. The Red pieces were also paper pieced. The rest, I think, is self-explanatory!

Thanks so much for all of your comments on my Kick Stand cards! Remember to leave a comment, linking your own KS card, if you make one - I'd love to see it! I'm sure that I'll have another 1 or 2 coming soon, too! I love being able to actually USE all of that wide ribbon that I've accumulated. :)

I also LOVE hearing all of your Hambo favorites! You're making my wish list grow significantly! LOL You still have a bit of time left to enter for some Naptime Nuggets - I'm drawing a number at midnight EST, so that's 3 hrs, by my clock! :) Click here, if you have no idea what I'm talking about!

Well, this is a late post for me, but please have a good evening (what's left of it, if you're in my time zone!), and I'll see you back here in the morning with a winner!

Dashing Through the Snow

Good Morning! This is the card that I referred to in (one of) yesterday's posts. I used the Scallop Oval this time and some American Crafts paper. This is the closed view... This is the view with the "kick stand" out. ;) It was difficult to get a decent pic of this card, because when it's standing, it looks like there's no back on the right side. I shot it everywhere (mostly because of lighting) today, from the couch to the bathroom! Hopefully, with these pix, you'll get a good idea of what it looks like! LOL There is Clear Stardust Pen (you could win your own by commenting on this post to enter for some Naptime Nuggets!!! And hurry! The contest ends at midnight tomorrow!!!) on the snowy hill, and I stamped the snowflakes with White Stazon onto a transparency.

[ETA - Here is my post with specific directions on how to make these cards.] The last pic is, obviously, of the inside. I decorated it with even more penguins (love those little guys!). I used MFT's Winter Blast stamp set for both sentiments and images. The scallop border was created with my Slit Punch, and I colored the penguins with my Copic Markers. Thanks for stopping by! It's Naptime now, so I'd better run to see if I can get a card or two done before my little guy wakes up! Have a great day!

Up for a Kick Stand Card?

What you are about to see is a new card layout I came up with the other day in the car, on my way to church. I thought that it would be fun layout to play with, and it was. I call it my Kick Stand Card. ;) You can make the "kick stand" with any of the big punches, or create your own size, like I did here. (The card I'm posting tomorrow used the Marvy Oval Scallop Giga Punch.) This is the closed card.

As you can see, the PP on the inside of the card is visible on the front. However, the next one that I make will have more of a contrast between the inside and out, I think. Also, I probably could have gotten a better picture of the standing card, but you can see that the scalloped rectangle holds up the card when in a standing position, like a "kick stand"! This is the (obviously ;)) open view of the card. I used some more of the pieces of Hot Stuff and It's Elemental to create a place to sign the card.
The cups on the front are paper pieced, and I used the new blue rhinestone brads (SU!) to create the cup hooks.
I hope that you like it, because I have more coming! Hopefully, they'll only get better! This is a great card to use that really wide ribbon and patterned paper you've been hording! {You know you have some, and if you don't...why the heck not??? (grin)} All you do is cut off the bottom 1 1/4 inches from the end of the folded card. Then use Sticky Strip to adhere the "kick stand" to the card bottom. And (at the risk of sounding cheesy) have fun! :)

Kirsten

This is just a small token of my appreciation to you!

With Friends Like You...

...who needs anemones?

I LOVE THAT!!! I think that's my favorite sentiment of all of the wonderfully "punny" sentiments that Hambo offers! Did you know that it's a husband and wife team, and that Tim draws all of the stamps, and Monica wrote all of the sentiments/limericks? I think that that's pretty darn cool! You can find these, and more awesome stamps here.

You know, I've only recently discovered that if I sit down with a pen and paper, BEFORE I sit down to make a card, it's MUCH easier to come up with a sketch! (Major DUH moment here!) The other day, when we were driving to church, I had my notebook and pen, and came up with 4-5 sketches, just on the way there! However, if I sit down with nothing to start with, I end up doing a whole lot of staring at the paper, and not making anything!!! Am I the only one who does that? I do the same thing when I do a SB page! It's pitiful! So, this is one of the sketches that I came up with!

I colored this cutey image with my Copic markers, and added the bubbles with some tiny solid circles from a couple of PTI sets. I then covered them with Diamond Stickles for some sparkle. And can I just tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE the new SU! Double Stitched Ribbon??? I have it in 5 of the 6 colors, but I'm dying to get my hands on some Guava! I can't NOT have them all, kwim??? ;)

Well, I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend, and make sure that you check back often in the next few days, because as soon as my ticker says 75,000 hits, I'll be offering some yummy Naptime Nuggets!

xox,
Kirsten

My Little Darling...

So I was up way too late last night playing in my scrap room (creating very little, might I add...). This morning, my husband was kind enough to put on a movie for my little "precious" to watch, until his weary mother was able to wake herself enough to get out of bed to tend to the child (about 45 minutes).

This is what I found when I stumbled into the kitchen...

Count them - not 1, or 2, or 3, but FOUR 1/2 gallons of soupy ice cream opened on the floor, PLUS two opened containers of former delicious goodness from McDonalds (or Old McDonalds, if you ask Wyatt). The freezer was also wide open, though not pictured.

When my little wonderful was asked if he ate any of the ice cream, he said, matter-of-factly "Yes. (pause) I ate lots of it. (pause) I ate it with my finger... Like this." (Walking over to attempt to reenact the crime.)

Mommy - "DO NOT TOUCH THAT!!!"

Little Darling - "But I didn't open the spoon, Mommy!"

Note to Self...Get to bed earlier.

New Sets!

This was a card that I created for this week's SCS Color Challenge - Sky, Bayou, and Coral. I really like this combination! Also, I was able to use 2 new sets - Jolies Fleurs, from Lizzie Anne {Yes, I caved to the pressure! It's all Lindsey's fault, well, and Lauren, and Jeanne, and Sherry! Okay, so I'm easily enabled! Seriously though, if you haven't checked out Lindsey's store (Jacksonbelle Embellishments), click the Lizzie Anne link above, and head on over there! Her service is AWESOME, and she carries the Lizzie Anne stamps, as well as TONS of other things to tempt you with!} and the cutey new sentiment set from Verve Visual, Thoughtful Phrases. Both were very fun to play with! I especially love the fact that the dotted oval from the sentiment set fits perfectly in the SU! Word Window Punch!

Well, I'd better go - I promised a friend that I'd meet her to go "walking" this morning... My only encouragement is the fact that I believe that a Starbucks Iced Caramel Mocha is in my not-too-distant future! :) I'll have to tell you about my morning, but that's for another post...

Snow Day

Reposted: This card was published in the December, '07 issue of Cards, pg.17.Sorry, I just had to use that title, since it's probably my only chance, living down in here in FLA!

This is a 5 1/4 square card that I made with my Winter Blast and Behind the Scenes sets from MFT. I also used my Headline Alpha from SU!. The card is pretty self-explanatory, so I'll skip the drawn out explanation! (Collective sigh of relief, I'm sure! ;))

We had a very nice visit with my brother and his family, although the scrapbooker in me is ashamed as I have not one picture to prove it! We went to the beach and pool and did a bit of shopping. So sad to see them go!

Hope you had a great weekend! (I know that it's already Tuesday, but since they left yesterday, it feels more like a Monday to me!) Now, I plan to stamp...depending on how long this Naptime lasts! (wink!)

Your Special Day

Okay, this is the last of the Hambo cards, for a few days, at least! :) I've not had any stamping time, over the past few days, since we've had company, so I thought I'd show you one that I already had stamped up.

How cute is this raccoon??? I love him and his matching sentiment! I colored him with my Copic markers, then I cut him out with my CM cutting system. The scallop circle is from my QuicKutz set. (See this post.) There is a full transparency layer, between the ribbon and the scallop circle, and the sentiment is stamped on that, in Black Stazon. Again, it's hard to take a pic of the transparency, but I think it turned out okay.

Hope you like him! Now head on over to Hambo (click above link), and check out all of the other cute little critters that they have over there!

I'm really hoping to get some stamping done today, but I guess I'll have to see how it goes! I just got the new Verve Visual sentiment set and the Lizzie Anne Jolies Fleurs set, so I'm dying to play with those...not to mention some more MFT and Hambo, Rubber Romance, Gina K, etc...!
So many stamps, so little Naptime! LOL

Talk to you soon and lots of love!

K

Tanking of You

This is a couple more cutey (in a totally manly way;)) stamps that I received from Hambo this month. I love this for a guy card (and my hubby gave his "stamp" of approval, too :))! Like I said before, I love stamps that are a lot of fun to color, and these SO are!

The "tank" strip is a piece of watercolor paper, that I... you guessed it...watercolored with my ink pads and an Aqua Painter. I Cuttlebugged the bottom of the NQN layer with my Traffic folder. The scallop edge was created with my 1/8 Circle and Slit punches.

Hope you like it, and that you have a wonderful day!

Kirsten

Season's Greetings

This is first time I've played with this Winter Blast set, and I HEART it very much! I LOVE penguins, so this little image is absolutely adorable to me! I colored it with my Copics, and added a little sparkle to the star with my Silver Stardust pen. The snowflakes are stamped on a transparency that is held on by my pretty new SU! ribbon. Hope you like it! (The dark area in the pic is the shadow of my arm on the transparency!)

My brother and his family will be here today till Monday afternoon, so I'm sure to not have much stamping time, but I've got some things planned for you, including a couple Hambo cards! (Wow, long sentence!)

I hope you are all having a wonderful week, and thanks so much for your sweet comment regarding my new DT gig! I'm very blessed.

Run, Don't Walk!!!

My Favorite Things has now released to stamping public FOUR brand spankin' new stamp sets!!!
What are you waiting for??? Get on over there and make these sets some of YOUR favorite things!

xox,
K

P.S. Scroll down to the below post for more big news!!!

Huge News!!!

I'm very stoked to announce that I have been asked to be the newest Design Team member for Hambo Stamps! I love their stamps and sentiments! They bring out the silly side of me! (Although it's not too far from the surface anyways! ;) They are original, funny, and SO much fun to color! Thank you so much, Monica, for this opportunity! (Okay, enough gushing!!!)

This toucan image is just too stinkin' cute, and when you add the sentiment, it's irresistible! I colored him with my Copic markers, and mounted him on a couple of scallop circles I created with my new set of QuicKutz dies. (More on the dies later.) I used some new PP that I found at my LSS, by Deja Views. I love it! I bought two of the three colorways that they offered, and I love them both - so colorful and fun! Also, I made this card a 6 1/2 x 3 1/4 size to fit my underused envies that I had to have. I love this size, I just forget to use it!

One more exciting thing about Hambo is that, for their Newsletter Subscribers, there is a Secret Sale that begins today and runs through Aug. 14th. It includes several of their wonderful stamps for at least 50% off! However, this promotion is not open to the public, but is offered only to their Subscribers. You can sign up here to take advantage of the sale!

And about the dies...
They are part of the new QuicKutz Cookie Cutter line, and my set is called Scallop Flowers. It includes 6 different dies. The sizes are approx. 3 5/8, 2 7/8, 2 3/8, 1 3/4, 1 1/8, and 1/2. They are somewhat similar to the ones offered by Spellbinders, only there are less of them, do not come with the solid circles, and do not emboss. They are, however, far less expensive. Okay, so they just LOOK like the Spellbinders dies! LOL Anyway, I thought I'd give you a little info on a cool new product I discovered. I'll probably still end up with most of the other Spellbinder sets, but this circle one should tie me over for the time being! ;)

Stay tuned for more Hambo cards, though for tomorrow, I've got a little MFT Christmas card that I think you'll like! See you then!

Kirsten
